Mga guys ano kaya ang issue ng new elantra at ang dami sa used market,

Wala problema Elantra, actually maganda nga eh. Kaso dito kase sa PH, as you may know already, bulok yung Kia and Hyundai distributors.

Mahal na, panget pa specs. TOTL dito baka base lang sa ibang bansa.

Yep ok lang, pero baka ma-underwhelm ka sa specs. Check mo maigi.

Saka dapat may warranty pa yan, you can check sa dealer itself.

if the car did not sell in large numbers locally, where did these "ang dami sa used market" cars come from?
used car imports? port irene?

IMO, because of the enticing low DP financing offers? Buyers get attracted at the low DP only to find out that maintaining and owning a car is more than just the monthly payment.

If you pass by a bank repo lot chances are you'll also see small cars too (Picanto, I10, etc.)
