That would depend on your priorities. 1.8 versus 2.4 is a lot of increase in gas consumption, mind you.

Aside from the bigger engine and increase in gas consumption, how about the interior? and other ammenities? mas lamang ba high end Elantra or lower end Sonata? mdyo hindi pa ako familiar sa specs.

Interior plastics palang ng Sonata lamang na lamang na sa Elantra.

Tapos leather/fabric combination yung seats ng Sonata. BTW, power seats at power retractable side mirrors na rin yung Sonata GLS.

Basta sa lahat ng aspects lamang ang Sonata GLS than Elantra GLS. Down side lang ang FC. Pero kung ako pipili, Sonata parin. Bonus nalang diyan yung "image"

Meron nga ako nakitang Sonata GLS (hyper metallic) tapos painted ng polished black yung roof. O' diba mukhang Premium agad. Hahaha Walanghiya.

Simple.. you want sedan then Elantra but if you are leaning more on SUV then Tucson GL of course.
Honestly mahirap mag decide kung may excess budget na 1M++, pag less naman no choice Elantra na lang talaga.

If bumpy road/provincial roads, I reduced it to 27PSI..

sa far wala pa naman akong nababasa na ganon issue sa Elantra (knock on wood).

I doubt it. HARI didn't bring in a GDi Sonata after all.. although alot of enthusiasts were clamoring over it, pangit fuel quality natin dito sa Philippines according to them to make it feasible.

Of course, I know a GDi Sonata owner (we all know who that is :naughty2 who doesn't really have a problem with our gas here but you know how people are.. no GDi = better profit margins

My cousin is planning on getting one next month kulay nalang prob nya. he likes the blue one or the silver one. question ko lang is ..takaw swirl marks ba yung blue na color ? whats the safest color to maintain sa elantra ? btw baka pwede pm nyo rin po ako ng mga offers and freebies ng mga nakuha nyo from hyundai baka mas maganda at sulit yung mga offers nyo. thanks
