Haven't tested flooring it yet. But based on multiple reviews and video reviews i've seen, responsive naman. Driving a matic will probably take some getting used to for me being a certified stick-shifter.

Despite logging less than 400KM, Ella is very composed and the engine is relaxed at 100KMH, with RPM just around ~2000 when coasting at SLEX.

Step up slightly to 3000 RPM and the car easily reaches 140KMH. Upon reaching desired speed, steadily push back on the throttle and the car will coast around 1800-2000 RPM.

Just to clarify, the Elantra is far from perfect, but given the price of this econobox, it sure is a good buy . . . only problem is, my wife liked it so much, ayaw na niyang isoli huhuhu

Nice! I also cruised at the same speed at SLEX but at about ~2krpm. That's the fastest i have tried with the elantra. Once I get past above the 5k mark, I'll try if I can floor further.

Btw, there's a forum started dedicated for elantra ph owners, just click on the link below:

syempre mas comfortable ang car kaysa pickup. Kaya nga kumuha ako ng elantra for comfort.

. . naku nabangit mo pa ... drool . . .

So malabo rin maka interfere sa reception, unless pina tint muna bago kabitan ng glass printed antenna, which is highly unlikely.

I never had a problem with my GPS connection, radio signals, or cellphone signals due to my BC35 tint on the windshield ;)

Thanks sa input mga sir! Actually nag inquire ako sa balintawak branch, 10% per annum ang binigay sakin na interest rate pag inhouse, then pinipilit pa nung sc na 88k all in ang idown ko. Ayaw nyang icompute ung gusto kong down na 400k all in.

A day after ko mag fill up ng credit app form, tumawag psbank, 51% daw rate pag 5 yrs..walang pinagbago rate..tsktsk..try ko mga suggestions sa taas, thanks again!

sir, suggest you apply directly sa bank, you can haggle for a lower rate. Kasi, if im not mistaken, pag thru dealer, may patong na for their DI. BPI, PSB, BDO, choose the bank that offer the lowest rates, plus the free comprehensive insurance w/ AOG. Just my .02 cents though.
