I requested a highway test which they scheduled tomorrow. I will ask them to certify the results in paper. Hopefully, they could resolve the problems.

I also asked what action they would do. And said they will still ask the technical manager.
Matipid na nga yang accent mo at 7km/l. My accent's fuel consumption is getting worse every full tank, before i got 7.5km/l purely city driving, then it hovered around 6-6.5, my last full tank is the worse 5.8km/l !!!! And this is from a small car with an equally small engine. And to top it all, my accent needs super premium fuel just to keep the engine knock from manifesting, but still the knocking persist although not as loud nor as often as on lower grade fuels

    ^ 1.4AT din, 60% highway, 40% City, traveled 30KMs+ a day.

My usual consumption is from 9-11KM per Liter din. Experimented lately w/ aircon on in city traffic only, and my consumption is at 12 -13KM / Liter.

My '09 honda city na 1.3Liter AT, the most that it can run on highway-city traffic is around 10Km a liter, pure city traffic can only run as far as 7-8Kms per liter. But of course, my wife is driving the unit, and it all depends on the driving habit din...

    Hello, welcome to the forum.

Could be you're reading your info display wrong. I live in the province but close to the city so lots of traffic at peak times. My average speed is around 50kph and hardly above that. Many schools, churches and people traffic yet I am getting around 14kms per liter. I am reading mine as 7 liters per 100 kms. Basically divide 100/7 and you get roughly 14kms/liter. My 1.4AT got road tested as well for the engine knock. Apparently they drained the tank, put in diff fuel types and repro'd my ECU. Now instead of a good FC I am nowhere near the pre-engine knock fc which was around 16-17kms/L. Engine response is gone to shayt and no matter how hard you press the pedal either in Drive or Reverse, it takes more than a second for it to respond. I guess good luck to us all. I am hoping Hyundai would really come up with a better solution.

    Hi Sir.
While waiting for the availability ng door sill protector, I had a DIY non-slip protector instead. Comes in clear, black , gray colors. It helps alot specially in slippery rainy days. Just cut your preferred length and shape and stick it to your door sill. Most hardware stores sa malls have these, try the 3M brand or pag tight budget, P88 stores have them too.

Hello everyone! im a newbie here. I have few questions regarding hyundai accent 2011 1.4 m/t. Im planning to buy a car and accent is my first choice.
    1. Panget ang performance
    2. Manipis ang kaha
    3. Korean made so asahan na di talaga maganda

They want me to buy Honda City instead. So when I checked the availability of Honda City wala na daw pala dahil sa flood sa thailand. Early next yer pa. So napapaisip na naman ako kung talagang Accent na lang since walang city. One more thing Ive read this thread, iniisip ko baka maexperience ko rin ang ibang problems ng accent.

Any comments or suggestions? Im planning to get 1.4 M/T.
    TIA!

My 1st gen Tucson is still growing strong after 4 years in service, hataw pa madalas ang takbo.

Only my personal opinion po, di po ako nakikipa-away.

Mukha ngang anti-hyundai.

Tell your friends to back up claims with "facts". Hell, if these were MY friends, I'll berate (pagalitan) them for giving me misguided opinions.

Eh yung kakilala ko nga german national may reklamo sa audi car nya how much more sa lesser brand..
