Mukhang very low ang clearance ng bottom natin. Kanina sa may konting incline ay may nag grind sa ilalim at may natanggal na rubber gasket cover of something. I have yet to find where it fell out of pag nai jack up ko na. Also the 3rd brake light ay prone to dust and insects getting in. Akala ko it's a sealed unit pero may nakita akong butiki (baby) and lots of mold like dirt inside. Doesn't help na humid dito satin. Sana di ma-void ang warranty ko pag binuksan ko ito..whew!
And, it was a very tiring weekend kakaalis ng water damage sa body especially sa glass and mirrors. My fault not to immediately wipe the car dry after washing with our brand of "NAWASA". Our municipal water is crap! and if left to dry, it will actually etch your glass or mirror. That's how strong it is. The thing left so much hard-to-remove water damage and I learned a valuable lesson in the process to wipe the car dry immediately after washing. I don't care if it's Evian natural spring water from the Alps or irrigation water, it must be wiped dry! immediately.
That is also crap to hear about a 2 month old car with a failing fan. I bet there are twenty plus year vehicles out there with nary a 'fan' problem.

The rear speakers are already mounted on the rear doors. So there is no point in adding provisions for 6x9's at the rear deck.Besides, if you opt to replace your stock speakers, you will only replace the fronts. Many audiophiles upgrade only their front speakers for better sound quality and imaging. The rears only act as fillers.
Many cars dont have the auto up feature on the drivers side window, even cars costing twice or thrice more.
Thanks guys. I guess your right. But for the central lock, it comes standard for the A/T, im just wondering why there are times it doesnt lock on its own when I start my engine and drive. I read on the manual, it has ignition-controlled door locks. Have you guys encountered this?
It has an auto lock feature, but only when all doors are closed before you put the key in the ignition.after the engine starts, thats when it auto locks.it doesnt have a speed sensing doorlock though. For the doors to lock again, you have to switch off the ignition and then on again.
Need advice lang po, may cash na po ako pang 50% to 60% downpayment sa 1.4AT, but with this issues being encountered in 2011 Accent, would you still advice me get it now? or maybe wait for a few more months na baka yung mga new units wala na nitong mga issues na ito? First car kasi, Tempting na ibili ko na lang ng 2nd hand Mazda 3 or Ford Focus Hatch or other cars na pasok sa budget.
kamusta na po. yung nagpakabit nang o sulee sa accent nya? di ko na mahanap kung saan thread nang accent sya nag post kaya dito na lang ako nag post. hehe thanks in advance for your respond!

Hey guys, recently found this thread. But I bought the new Hyundai Accent months ago. I'm having problems with Fuel consumption and loss of power. Id rather use my gas fortuner than the accent in traffic.
Now, it is in Hyundai E.Rodriguez for further road testing for the nth time, 3rd time actually, since they do believe that 7kms/L is efficient for city driving.
I requested a highway test which they scheduled tomorrow. I will ask them to certify the results in paper. Hopefully, they could resolve the problems.
I also asked what action they would do. And said they will still ask the technical manager.
