2011 Hyundai Accent issues, problems in general

Although I have my fair share of hyundai problems, pero hehehehehe, mahirap igeneralize ang isang brand.

Sorry Sir Starex Gold and Meikey. Too much nalang talaga ito. After a year na ito parin ang sakit nya at unresolved pa siguro naman may karapatan na ang consumers magreklamo at magalit. Tapos ngayon niloloko pa kami ng Hyundai/HARI na pina hohold and ECU replacement. Yes yung akin pinaltan pero hihinto nalang ba ako dahil napalitan? Eh paano pala kung yung sakin yung nai-hold? And by the way, yung ECU pinaltan nga pero knocking ulit. Yung Compressor pinaltan pero wok-wok sound Sirs ulit.


Sama-sama kami dito, one way or the other ginagago tayo ng Hyundai/HARI.



Sa perspective ko wala akong binatong comment na di totoo.


At least show us a Hyundai product line-up na walang sakit.

^ sir mexo, nag knock pala uli ang unit mo after ecu replacement? Ako isa sa mga kawawang naka hold ang ecu replacement, i already elevated my concerns to the HARI head office, ewan ko kung gaano katagal bago ma aksyunan. Right now i also have 3 hyundais, yung accent ko lang ang kinabubwisitan ko, Yung GS ko mag 2 years old na wala pa naman problem(knock on wood), yung sf ko naman malaki na ginagastos ko dahil mahina pang ilalim, understandable naman kasi used purchase. Overall for me hindi naman siguro sirain ang entire lineup. Ang accent lang talaga ang bad egg. But if you ask me i will never purchase another hyundai vehicle in the Philippines again. Not because of the quality but because hyundai philippines after sales services SUCKS BIGTIME. Sabi nga sa ibang forums "HARI NG SABLAY"
By the way, meron din akong ford everest, ranger and expedition dati..and all i can say is sirain din ang ford. Ang difference lang maayos ang after sales service nila unlike hyundai na kahit ata saang casa sablay.

hindi rin natin masisisi sina sir mexo at sir bratski. pero alalay lang tayo, mahirap maging mainitin ang ulo. alam naman siguro ng HARI yan. makakakuha din tayo ng good news. akin ang problema is yung lock. papasilip ko sa 5k pms. sa power delay ng MT ko, timpla lang sa gasolina. always smile peace sa ating lahat!

reading the threads about the different issues of the accent, i can't blame mexophilia for giving out those statements. ako rin naman, if magkakaproblema kotse ko na ang mahal mahal, baka nagwawala na rin ako. intindihin na lang natin. i'm sure pag maayos na mga problema with his hyundai, mag iiba ang ihip.

though i do not believe na lahat ng hyundai line up may problema...kasi car of the year ang elantra sa north america.

We can't blame people if they already had enough of one car brand. The money used to purchase that specific vehicle was hard-earned, not taken from someone. If I were in their places (thankfully I'm not) I'd do the same -- bash HARI over and over again. So I completely understand their thoughts and hardships they're going through.

However, I guess encouraging people to stay away from that specific brand is already too much. Probably just share your problems with people and tell them to stay away from that specific car model and tell that having other car models from the same car make is perfectly fine because of its "clean" reputation so far. It's pretty harsh for HARI to be told by someone that all their car models share major problems especially if these weren't proven yet.

Mexo, care to share the problems that other Hyundai models have excluding the Accent?

I believe though that HARI should already take a look about this Accent issue and address to the owners what are the right things to do to make their monies worth and not just shut up and keep the owners waiting for nothing.

O ayan nandyan ako sa parehong scenario, hindi ko alam kung maiiyak ba ako o ano. Mag iisang taon na accent ko pero 2k palang mileage because hindi ko magamit, dahil pag ginamit ko parang hindi nako makakauwi ng buhay.

I do understand the sentiments of some members here in the forum. Cost of a brand new car is not a joke. The problem with HARI is that they have the problem with the car that they produce but they can not accept this fact and they even continue selling it. This might only be happening in the Philippines....
