    Just remembered: regarding the sudden jerk on U-turns, di ko pa nae-experience while making the U-turn, but I did experience it during an overtake. If you step on the accelerator too hard the car seems to down-shift aggressively, making that sudden shift shock (aka iyong jerking na na-mention before). Wa-poise nga, pero it can be circumvented by going manual, or just learning to overtake without being too abusive on the pedal.

    Safety-wise, na-intrigue din ako as to why you'd suddenly step heavy on the accelerator while making a U-turn. While on the apex of the turn, especially that of a U-turn, would it really be natural to step heavy on the gas? Don't get me wrong, hindi ko kasi gawain iyon (nakakahilo pati sa mga pasahero), but common practice ba sa iba 'to? If so, I guess mas accident-prone iyong practice over the car's behavior in itself.
    Medyo may kulang lang akong tinype regarding that uturn na nag jerk, nung diniinan ko na ang apak sa accelerator i was already done negotiating the u turn, diretso na front wheels ko nun and i needed quick acceleration para makauna sa mga incoming vehicles kasi i will be making a right turn sa next street. Nasa 2nd gear ako that time and travelling about 20kph. Kaya ko inapakan para mag downshift at para humatak, yun nga lang nagkaron ng lull na parang nag neutral muna siya sabay biglang sipa ng primera. Kaya ko nasabing nag neutral kasi tumaas rpm ko hanggang 3k pero no corresponding forward movement. As in nasa 20kph ako nun parang coasting lang pero tumaas rpm.

    Hyundai has generally weak headlights...we had to modify the horn and headlights of the Tucson...umabot ata ng 14k additional.

    yung 60-80 sa 2nd gear mga 4000-5000 rpm lang naman so ok lang yon?. kakabili lang nang unit namin nun july 7 dinala sa manaog kahapon para mapa bless kaya medyo natesting na din sa takbuhan.

    anyway any accent user here na ang gas ay super premium // gold ?
    sabi kase nang dealer ko mas ok daw unleaded kaya sa premium for accent? pero parang mas feel ko yung premium kase mas mahal nang piso ? lol


    and last question

    yung engine knocking sounds po ba kapag dinidiinan maririning habang rumekrekta sya na 50-100?

    Ihataw mo na habang break-in pa. Para masanay agad yung makina tsaka di mahirapan humataw near future.. hehe

    Ayun lang... ba't kasi ultimo casa nagpopromote ng HID's na hindi naka-projector ang headlights ng sasakyan. *Fredericko try mo chief i-on yung headlights mo at night (non-inclined road), then labas ka ng sasakyan and try to distance enough from the car, mimic the height of an incoming car, and check kung hindi ka masisilaw. Kung masilaw ka, I'd advise you return sa casa at ipa-align mo yung headlights pababa to lessen the glare. Counter-productive ang mangyayari niyan gawa ng mas maiksi na bato ng ilaw to compensate, pero at least you'd be (hopefully) Goon Squad safe.

2011 Hyundai Accent issues, problems in general
