Kung ayaw mo ng kotse mo na gawing taxi, bili ka ng Honda o Mazda!! (speaking of which, their overpriced or overhyped cars)... Image problem?? Tignan mo sa Germany, taxi nila puro Benz at Beamer...

I think GDI engine is similar to FSI engine..which is direct injection also fuel effiecient and less emission.Correct me if im wrogn?

Its a traditional 4-speed torque converter automatic.

PS: Correction to the correction posted by drift_rich.
We are getting the export market Accent, not the Korean Domestic version, its obvious if you look at the engine/transmission specs.

Thats because the two initial models HARI launched here is the loaded top 1.6 AT model and bare base 1.4 MT model. No mid-range model (yet), so the price gap looks big.

Just like the Tucson GL CRDi and the Tucson GLS-Premium CRDi.. 300K price difference.

Tama. Yung GDi parang CRDi version ng gas engines.

Taxi drivers are not so bad, compare that with motorcyclists, many of them habitually overtake but leave only a meter or two clearance in front as they swerve to pass you...tsk tsk. They squeeze between you and other vehicles with just a foot clearance, hmmm. The police add insult to injury, when the inevitable accident happens, they typically "blame" the motor vehicle driver, as if its always the driver of the bigger vehicle at fault. Grrrrrrr.

Grabe! Dito sa basement 2 ng PBCom tower, may nakaparadang Accent na color white. The only problem is yun stock wheels. Salpakan lang ng 17" or 18" na mags, poging pogi na!
