+100 dito, naka 1.5G AT ako na vios daily ride ko so what kung madaming vios na taxi..pag niloloko ako ng mga friends ko na may fiesta, civic etc..

sinasabi ko okay lang mahal ang flagdown rate ko kase TOTL ang vios ko hehehehe

Taxis have a negative image because of horrible road manners of taxi drivers and the lack of maintenance of the common taxi. Taxis and their drivers are more respected in europe because the drivers have better etiquette and are better groomed aside from the fact that the cars are nicer giving the feeling of being chauffeured. Taxis and their drivers in America are not respected either. People want their cars to say that they are financially well off and that they've arrived specially in the compact and subcompact segments so they like to disassociate themselves and their cars from public transportation vehicles which are viewed as lower class. There's also a feeling of exclusivity in having a car that few people have driven, ridden or experienced.

Yeah, thats the thing. Kaya you would think twice na magbitaw ng pera na malaki para may makatabi ka lang sa kalye na katulad mo at ginawang taxi. But would I choose Honda? not even, para din yang taxi sa sobrang dami.
