Sa pag babasa ko across the internet ito ang nakita ko. Baka ito ang dahilan ng problema sa accent. Ang tanong eh itong version ng update na sinasabi ay parehas kaya dito sa pinas??

I have over 5000 miles (100+ mile daily commute) on this Marathon Blue jewel since trading in my 1998 Toyota Avalon for the Accent. The ride is comparable and road noise is slightly less in the Accent on dry roads. Road noise is greater in the rain; the add-on splash guards and/or undercoating would probably help equalize that. The standard stereo with XM is pretty awesome and takes the edge off the commute. The interior is VERY roomy with enough leg room for an adult to set in the back seat comfortably. Front seats are very comfortable on longer trips and the fold down arm rest on the drivers seat gives you a captains chair feel and is a NICE touch. MAKE SURE you get the latest computer program update. It fixes a shift problem that would shift up through the gears too quickly making the car bog down and feel VERY anemic; was also hurting city mpg. The update definitely increases the pep as well!
^so that explains it. Yan din nga iniisip ko tranny problem. Kasi yung mismong engine mukhang ok naman. Baka yung update sa ecu ng engine natin hindi na tugma sa settings ng tranny. Ramdam ko nga parang laging nasa 3rd or 4th gear. Kahit override ng manual mode ganun din. Yung mga naka m/t siguro hanggang ngayon ok pa after the update.

So that rules out the fuel change issue. Kasi nagpalit ako ng xcs from blaze, eh since kayo naka v-power eversince malamang nga sa ecu na naman. Pero nakakapagtaka lang kasi nagamit nyo pa ng 500kms. Sa akin mga 80kms lang nag low power na. Pero yung 80kms kung yun inabot din ng halos 1 month.

Oo nga tayo tayo din ang nasa facebook hehehe. Itong update ko pala first palang. Sa hyundai greenhills ko pona update. Yung mga nakaraang pabalik balik ako sa casa, hindi nila inuupdate yun. Kesyo check dito,linis dito, adjust dito lang ang ginawa, sa hyundai erodriguez naman ito. Naka apat na balik din siguro ako dyan sa erod bago ako nagpa update sa greenhills. Sa erod kasi ayaw nila mag update dahil mag low power daw.

Yung issue ko dati na low power , itong-ito yung feel na nangyari noon (slow acceleration at walang power sa inclined). Will take the car back to Greenhills tomorrow at nakakaawa naman ang mukha ng misis ko. Hunch ko lang is magagawa ito ng simpleng update ulit, bad scenario lang is baka every two weeks kailangan mag pa-update or every time na maglow-power. At least for starters na solve nila both problems na knocking and low-power di nga lang stable.
Ganyan di akin Sir Bratski, sports mode no go. Ganitong ganito ang dati. Sobrang bagal mag accelerate tapos pag abot ng 3k rpm biglang sisipa, kaya ingat kse medyo delicado pag pinilit.

Yung unit mo ba all the time low power or pasulpot sulpot? Yung akin kasi ginamit ko kanina, nag low power initially pero nag ok din agad. Tapos naging intermittent yung low power. Ginamit ko manual mode and ganun din. Intermittent low power.

May 7 ko nabili unit ko. Malamang nga totoo yang purge valve na yan. Kasi idling ko ngayon mas hindi smooth compared before. Mas bumababa rin idling speed from 700 rpm ngayon nasa 600 something nalang.
Ot: huwag mo na pag aksayahan yung gold starex. Mas maraming toys at mas kumpleto ang gray market units. Sa akin kasi sa pitstop ako kumuha and 5 years warranty din sila.

hi mga sir! it's my first time to post here but i often visit the other thread. just want to share my experience to return the gesture baka makatulong din. i got my M/T car last june. i discovered grinding sound /noise problem after learning it from your earlier posts. dahil sa tinggin ko that time wala pang solution ang HARI (meron na ba? long-term.....), di muna ako nag pa upgrade para maiwasan ko yun hassle na pabalik balik ako sa casa ,pero nireport ko at usapin namin na hihintayin ko tawag nila kung may may solution na sila. besides tolerable pa naman ang problema, lumalabas lang ang tunog during 1st and 2nd gear shift. that time ang fc ko nasa 9.8/100km lang, from home to makati (17km) daily.
after 3 weeks na wala akong nakukuhang feedback from casa, yun tunog lumalala, naririnig ko na kahit tumatakbo ako ng 80km/hr na naka 5th gear. then i decided to have it checked.
1st ecu service- ni re-configured daw (whatever) . nawala tunog, but after 2-3 days nag low power na, esp. during heavy traffic, kasing init ng makina ulo ko sa inis. binalik ko sa casa.
2nd ecu service - upgrading. after that biniyahe ko ng subic oct. 31, okay walang problem, bilis biyahe ko walang traffic sctex 80-100km/hr takbo, fc ko almost 20km/liter. then pagbalik ko ng manila travelling 140km/hr the fastest, nag low power uli nang nasa tollgate nako( modorate traffic). kinabukasan binalik ko uli sa casa.
3rd ecu service - upgrading with the condition na pagbumalik ire-replace nila ecm, may parating sila from korea the following week. di ako pumayag, dahil alam ko babalik uli problem dahil wala naman silang ginawang bago other than upgrade. so sabi ko, ireserve nyo yun parating at palitan na. after 3rd service, biniyahe ko muna ng laguna, same experience papunta okay pabalik low power uli. dina ako maka akyat sa sucat/bicutan toll gate kinailangan kong patayin aircon...that's the worst.
4th ecu serice - ecm replacement. haayyyyy! sa pag type pa lang ng post dito nakakapagod na much more the experience na kala ko maiiwasan ko. after this i still experience intermitent low power. pero not bad as before esp. during heavy traffic pero nakakainis pa din, ramdam mo difference pag patay ang aircon. diko muna dinala sa casa, medyo busy, at for sure wala pa silang long term solution dito.
But something weird happened to my car's performance last week. nag palit ako ng gas station last week, sa macapagal na kasi ako na daan since nagkaroon na ng tall fee sa airport skyway going to makati.
yun unang petron gas station going to manila, nag palagay ako ng xcs, to my suprise nag bago hatak lumakas as if parang naka patay aircon ko. di ko din na e-experience low power even in heavy traffic. this is not the first time
i used xcs.
pero after refueling this week from same station sa macapagal petron, again nagbago uli performance, humina uli. fc ko ngayon nasa 12 to 13liter/100km, pero may bearing din dito ang traffic pag pasok ng ber months.

how long/far did you use petron blaze?how's the performance? wala bang bad effect to' sa makina, some dealers dini discourage ako na gumamit nito. nabasa ko sa post mo na when you shifted to xcs nag low power ka uli. At first, i thought, may halong lower octane sa xcs yun nilalagay ng dati kong gas stations kaya nag lo-low power ako. but on the contrary, basing on your experience, baka may halong higher octane/blaze yun nilagay sa kin lastweek kaya gumanda performance ng car.

walter, where did you get your ecu updated? merong dalawa ditong naka MT na nagpa-update ng ecu and nasolve issue nila. sa greenhills sila nagpa-update.
Yung unit ko 1.4AT, meron din akong knocking sound. at that time, XCS at Caltex Gold pinapa-karga ko. Most of the time, XCS. trinay ko lang mag-switch sa Shell Premium and nawala na yung tunog. mag two months na yatang naka Shell tong unit ko. So far so good.
The grinding sound, yan ba yung parang tunog ng blender, parang sa ilalim nangagaling yung tunog and not on the engine bay area? I'm hearing sound that sometime when slowly pressing the pedal to accelerate coming from a full stop or slow traffic movements on 1st and 2nd gear at low rpms. Is that somehow related to the knocking issue? Can it fix by the ecu update? or wag na lang, kasi baka mag low power? Thanks.
Tumawag sakin SA ko kanina sa erod. May dumating na daw na tsb direct from korea. Combination of new programming etc etc. Mainit init pa daw, sigurado na daw tapos ang knocking and low power issue. Ipapasok ko si accent bukas. Abangan.....
Sige lang mga Sir, pa-testing niyo lang ng pa-testing unit niyo sa experimental reprogram nila. Tambay na muna ako dito sa original version until mag-issue na ang HARI mismo ng mandatory or silent recall ng lahat ng Accent. By that time sana naman sure na sure na ang gagawin nila kumpara sa paggi-guinea pig nila ng mga units ngayon.
Past 4K kms. tinamaan na rin ng engine knock yung akin. Wala kang lusot, incline, decline, flat road, meron. Kahit cruising ka sa SLEX or NLEX at 80 km/hr and up or kahit steady lang speed mo may engine knock din. Walang pinipiling RPM, engine knock galore. lol Hindi ko na iniintindi, I just appreciate the music coming from my HU.
Marami pa namang buwang bibilangin bago mawala warranty ng unit ko. Bahala na sila mamroblema pag malaki-laki ipapalit. I bought the unit to enjoy, not to be part of their service team by participating in their experimental reprogram and fine-tuning. A matter of time and patience lang naman iyan, will make good use of both na muna.![]()
