this is quite alarming....two tsikoteers at almost the same span of time experienced the same problem....pano pa kaya yung iba....I steadily see pa naman quite a number of accents on the road this past days...![]()

Di kaya, me certain standard na requirement ang accent when it comes to fuel type?
Like euro II, III, IV or V.
I'm saying this because this is a new engine, and just maybe our unleaded gasoline here is not up spec with the requirements of the Engine... Just my 5 centavos.. hehehe![]()
Mukhang may kinalaman ang fuel dito.
Pareho kayong Petron ang ginamit kaya kumakatok yung engine niyo..
Saan kayang petron branch to. Para maiwasan.. Gusto ko p man din i try Petron. Puro shell unleaded kasi ako eh...![]()
Very Alarming so Hyundai seems to be their Quality becomes deteriorated bah or it's just a Lemon cars on the making![]()
Eh diba Fiesta ka? Ok lang Petron satin in fact yun lagi gamit ko (yung pinaka mura yung Xtra Unleaded) since I feel I get better mileage with them at least sa FoFi.
Personally, I don't think its the fuel... Its one of those quick but unfounded answers by car dealers just for the sake of having an answer.
Btw, the TS (and the zackek guy) tried all manner of fuels (shell and petron) yet the symptoms still persisted.
On a lighter note, fuel should not be an issue here....unless the spin doctors at Toyota Phils has found new jobs at HARI.![]()

We have been using Unioil unleaded for some time now with our FoFi. Meron kasing "mini price war" dito sa Pampanga along the side of SM Pampanga.
Lower by P4 per liter
No probs with "knocking".
Ang dapat yata eh ang engine maker will adapt to the local conditions kung saan nila ibebenta yung car.
This is poor research and design on Hyundai's part.
This was something that I was willing to experiment on. Unfortunately, when I had the oppurtunity to check, the Accent's plugs are NGK LKR6B-11E. A model that is not exactly available in most stores - plus the heat range is already "6". I doubt if we will find a "7" anytime soon.
