2010 tucson transmission trouble

had a problem the other week with my tucson, with the transmission becoming stuck at N (i couldn't shift to R)

this happened several times so i brought it to hyundai las pinas, where it was fixed for free. malfunctioning break switch daw. i guess kahit na nakatapak na ko sa brakes, because of the malfunction, my tucson thought na di ako nakatapak.

nakakainis lang cause it took all day to fix (from 10am to 4pm). saka medyo nawalan ako ng confidence sa auto. and i drove an accord and a jazz for the past 13 years, and had exactly 1 major problem with these 2 cars (which honda fixed for free kahit na way past the warranty na). so medyo bad trip lang na in only 6 months i had as many problems na with my tucson.

still love it though!

Sabi na eh. Brake switch issue again.

Mukhang defective yung brake switch ng Tucson

sana nga yung ipinalit nila na part ay redesigned na. kasi kung exact same part as the original, baka may design flaw tas after another 6 months or so bakit masira na naman

anong variant sir yung tucson mo? pareho lang ba ang transmission or yung brake switch ng lahat ng variant ng tucson (gas or diesel)

gl na automatic pare. di ko sure pero baka iba yung sa manual. ewan ko lang kung iba din yung sa mga 4wd.

may idea ka how much yong part na pinalitan, 2x na din kasi nangyari sa akin yan, i just want to have an idea how much the part cost.

hindi eh, pero siguro naman by the time magexpire warranty natin naayos na nila ito

ilang buwan lumipas bago nagkaproblema brake switch mo pre?

after a few mins, somehow nakakapagshift na uli. tinry kong irestart engine, sundutin yung shift lock, etc.

after the 1st time na nangyari, umasa ko na isolated incident lang. pero dumalas na kasi eh, parang every other day nasustuck. minsan pa sa alanganin na situation nasastuck, tulad ng kung naguuturn ka tas madaming kotse.
