Kukunin na namin mamayang hapon yung unit. Grabe, excited na ako. First time ko magdrive ng automatic. Sa paranaque ko pa iuuwi and idadaan ko ng edsa. malamang sa malamang, one lane lang ako nito mula kamuning hanngang magallanes..tatantsahin ko pa kasi ung clearance nya eh..waahhhhh..excited na nininerbyos...basta ilagay ko na lang sa "D" tas brake na lang...hehehehe...sensya na mga katsikot, mas malaki na kasi sya compared sa previous adventure namin...kita kits na lang sa daan..

i need to add 2 seats to the GS (mine is a 9-seater), planning to take a long trip so the foam sofa bed will not be enough anymore. has anyone here added seats to a 9-seater GS? where can i get extra seats, preferably 2 singles. or would the 2 seat middle seat of a GRX fit in a GS as a 3rd row (where the original 3rd row now becomes the 4th row? or has anyone removed seats from a 12 seater and is planning to sell the extra seats?

or am i better off going to a car upholstery shop and ask them to fabricate 2 small seats to insert between the 2nd and 3rd row. takot lang kasi ako e paminsan-minsan lang gagamitin at baka naman sobra taas ng price.

Paquote ka bro ng fabrication/customized seats sa Seatmate. Di naman siguro ganung kamahal kung 2 small seats lang.

at last, nakuha na namin GS namin kahapon from HANCARS..first time to drive an A/T car tapos van pa pero nung natest drive ko na, sobrang gaan idrive, parang kotse lang. Kaya nawala yung takot ko kahit nung nasa EDSA na kami kasi ang gaan gaan lang talaga sya idrive..syempre, iwas singit singit muna kasi tinatanya ko pa clearance nung GS.

Some comments:
- yung location ng GPS, medyo nakakailang lalo na pag bago lang, or naninibago lang ako, kaya pinapatay ko yung GPS eh, di kasi ako sanay nagdadrive sa gabi na maliwanag sa harap
- wala ba talagang lagayan ng shades sa harap? or dko lang mahanap?
- talaga bang namamatay yung HU pag nilalagay ko sa "P" yung gear? pero bumabalik din sya, parang 2 secs lang syang mamamatay
- pag nakagreen po ba ung ECO dun sa panel, ibig sabihin ba nun is fuel efficient yung way of driving ko?

Sensya na mga sir, maraming tanong. I just want to get your opinions with my new ride.

*Jaggerx3, di ko pala nacheck kung ano tire pressure nung GS namin, nakalagay sa manual, dapat within 35psi to 40psi lang..not sure though. kasi kung sobrang tigas, matagtag din naman sya....HTH

congrats on your new GS.

yung issue about the HU, i assume may rear camera yan. if so then mag-o-off talaga yung screen pag nasa R (reverse) yung shifter, to turn on the rear cam. e pag lagay mo sa P syempre dadan ka sa R di ba (P-R-N-D). why do you put it in P btw, is it because you are stopped or you have already reached your destination? i ask kasi sabi mo 1st time to drive an a/t. baka naman kasi panay lagay mo sa P kung nasa traffic ka lang naman kaya ka naiilang? just press the brake if it is just for a short while, at pag matagal lagay mo lang sa N (neutral) and keep stepping on the brakes, just as you would step on the clutch when stopped for a short while or put the shifter to neutral on a manual tranny when stopped for a long time.

lagayan ng shades dyan sa tabi ng map/cabin lights sa taas.

From D to P, kasi nareach na namin yung destination. Or even from P to D pag aalis na ako. Yap, based from sa nabasa ko dito sa forum, I only use P pag nagpapark na ako or nareach na namin yung destination. I only use N kapag mejo matagal sa traffic, else, all brake lang ako. Tama ba, I shifted to N then hand brake pag example, I just need to go down and will get something for let's say 2 minutes or iihi lang.

OT: Ang sarap idrive ni GS...I was able to reach 90kph last night on Osmena hiway, from pasay road stoplight to magallanes, nakakagulat yung hatak...pero bawal pa hatawin, hanggang 100kph lang daw muna for the break in. next week, uwi kami ng la union. Then after ng 1000 pms, ayan na, pwede na...EAT my STAREX's dust...hehehehe
