    I feel din yung thug na yun. Minsan din kasi ginagawa ko nilalagay ko sa P. Then shift to D kapag traffic. Ayun ramdam talaga. Akala ko minsan din may bumangga sa likod ko. Then minsan from N to D tapos biglang hataw parang nag gaganun. Pero ngayon di ko na experienced. Once lang yata ngyari sa akin.

    Nangyayari sakin yan pag naka incline yung GS then nailagay mo sa Park then lagay mo sa Drive nalakas yung "
    Thud" Sound.

    This is normal for automatics. Parang hihigpit yung tranny coz gumalaw konti yung oto dahil sa incline.

    Yup normal lang ito lalo na nga pag incline. Ang ginagawa ko sa ganyan aalisin sa hand brake tas medyo iuuga ng atras abanta. Tas ayun mas malambot na ilipat ng gear compare nun matigas at may thug sound na malakas

    Assuming the incline is not that steep, I suppose? In cases na iuuga mo ng paatras abante, bro, hindi ba lalong 'sisikip' yung tranny?

    pag steep ang incline i do not put the gear in P, just to N. i just make it a point to park where there is a high enough gutter and have the front wheels turned and make contact with it, to act as a wheel chock. mahirap na baka maipit pa yan di na maalis sa P. some old a/t cars are prone to doing that, having the gear locked in P when parked in an incline. i don't know about our newer vehicles but i do not intend to find out now or at any time. actually it happened with my 01 lancer once, but i managed to get it free by rocking the car back and forth. but that was a lancer. e paano kung GS? bigat nun huh!

    Tama ka bro.,- kaya kapag naka-incline at ilalagay mo sa "P",- dapat higitin mo ng todo ang handbrake para hindi na gumulong.....

    Else, baka ma "lock" sa "P"...

    Hindi ko pa naman na encounter na tumigas lalo. Ginagawa ko kasi ito pag talagang matigas e-shift yun transmission. Normally naman basta iuga ko, lumalambot siya.

    Kaya ba e-start ang GS pag nasa neutral nakalagay?

    Para maiwasan yung loud thud sound from P dapat everytime na mag papark kayo shift to neutral muna then handbrake. Pag nagsettle na yung GS sa handbrake tsaka niyo i-Park. Parati nangyayari to sa GS namin pag nanay ko huling gumamit haha. Yung from N to D or D to N hindi ko pa naeexperience..

    P or N pwede i-start. Nga lang, pwede nga bang alisin ang susi ng GS pag hindi nakalagay sa P? Yung ibang oto hindi eh, P lang pwede.

    Yung loud thud when shifting from park alam ko yun. Almost all automatics do that kapag pinang kalso mo ang park on an incline, then pag shift out of park mo talagang may thud yun.
    Yung problem ko is yung loud thud, with accompanying kick in the butt feeling when shifting from drive to neutral. The situation is nasa drive ako on a flat road then full stop kasi traffic ahead, then put it in neutral (habit ko na yan pag matatagalan ang stop). Dyan bigla may loud thud na akala ko na rear end ako. Happened to me twice in the last 2 months. The last time i thought i was rear ended din pero wala naman kotse sa likod ko.

    Sir I think yung sinasabi nyo eh yung LSD mode ng mga matic na starex. nangyayari din sakin yan pag nag park ako sa garahe namin at natapatan ng isang goma yung madulas na tiles. normally mag slip yung isang wheel then maririnig mo yung biglang malakas din na kalabog kaming from under. tapos wala na din . . .

    Iba yata sir yang sinasabi nyo. Yung lsd pag gumana may parang kalabog din nga, lalu na pag sideview ang akyat sa ramp at umangat ang isang rear tire. Yung sinasabi kong loud thud is on a flat road, on full stop, and shifting from D to N dahil matatagalan ang stop. Dun kumalabog na parang nabangga ka sa likod. The thud is so loud and forceful na Parang binangga ka ng malakas.

    pasilip mo kaya sa ilalim yung universal joints ng drive shaft, and also the bearings and supports of the shaft. yun lang nga pag yan ang sira may maririnig ka na bell sound e. kung wala e shift shock na nga yan.

    Na try niyo na ilusong sa baha ang GS niyo? Medyo alangan ako wala parin kasing rustproof. Maybe next week ako magpapa rustproof kapag di na naulan.

    ako naman nag aalangan dahil sobrang baba ng fogs ng GS, baka pasukin agad ng tubig tas masira hehehe! pero naka rust proof na sa amin, pag labas ng casa unang pinagagawa lagi namin rust proof. dahil sa weather natin na init tas lamig at may baha pa

    Very true bro. Though the OEM discs probably stand a better chance of surviving this vs. slotted/drilled rotors.
