    Hi IMm29,
Kindly feedback re: Hyundai Edsa Central. That is where I got my unit last week. The sales rep are very accommodating, even the service manager. I talked to him before I replaced my HU. He said, there are no problems with that bec most HU are plug and play.

I have not yet had my 1k PMS done, still under 200km on the ODO. But if it is true that there is no corkage, I'll bring my own oil.

    thanks.

Ok bandit. I'll try to get it done on Saturday morning. The service guy, Manny Zamora, was saying no corkage except if on parts. He was proud to say there were no long lines coz they are the 2nd dealership to offer Jet Service (kaya DAW within 1 hour yung service ko) and they have a big service area.

Bros,- the stretch from Sucat>>Bicutan>>C5 Exit of SLEX,- safe kang mag overspeed dahil walang nakabantay roon.... We pass by this route every morning on our way to work..... And back in the afternoon (further south to Alabang at least 2x a week), after work, wala ring nakabantay....

It is about 400meters before reaching the Bicutan exit.

Both northbound at southbound vehicles.... Mino-monitor nila...

Di ba CH rating dapat na engine oil para sa GS natin?
Malapit na ako magpa 5k PMS, gagamitin ko yung ZIC na FS oil na CJ rating.

CH or CI na ata. Requirements that ZIC FS can handle. Even Delo Gold Ultra, Multigrade or 400 can handle. But not HGMO!!!

I got the Zic from Jard Gerona of THP. The RV FS i have is 10w-30 API CI ata or CI-4, definitely within spec as noted in the booklet.

What Magnatec do u have? And what are the specs bro?

They don't sell it at stores? The castrol magnatec i bought is 10w-40. It doesn't have an api rating on the label, all it says is "exceeds cf requirements". And it's quite pricey for a semi synthetic, around 1,300/gallon at ace hardware. A little more expensive if ill be buying at pistop.

That's pretty low on the requirements side. D*mn casas! That's why the Hyundai Ghills service guy got a piece of my mind. Pinagpilitan ang CF rated HGMO.

Problem is they almost always get away with it. Most people who go in for service don't know the difference in api classification. And if we complain about their cf rating, they can always blackmail us with their warranty.

Fronte or Good gear sells front brake pads at less than P3K/pair. Not sure about aftermarket pads though.

The Hyundai Central Edsa guy admitted the same -- that only a few bring in their own oil -- kaya wala silang corkage on oil. At least not yet. As to the warranty, Hyundai Global service guy said that ultimately it would be HARI's decision to accept or deny any claims. They'd only indicate, supposedly, on the record (theirs and yours) that you brought your own oil. I guess it would help one's case if you could have the specific oil indicated on the records.

San ba malapit itong Hyundai Central Edsa?

due for 60K Pms na GS namin eh tas ano oil recommend niyo?

It's located at the CATS compound, 2nd floor. This is along Edsa after the Santolan flyover and Annapolis street.

I would recommend Zic RV FS 10w-30 for both your GS and SF. Try contacting Jard at THP.

Ang hirap magpa pms dyan sa erod. Yung usual na pms na 1 to 2 hours lang inaabot ng whole day dyan. Plus added bonus pa na puro bopols mga SA dyan.
