na try ko na din kasi magpa install ng hid sa shops na ganyan nasayang lang pera. those shops that do everything are never experts on anything. i had hids installed on my pick up before at a shop in araneta and they said it was the best in the market. kaso maling bulb ang ininstall at mali din ang position kaya the first time i had to use my headlights, on a very dark farm road at that, and it was useless as fnck! mas maliwanag pa yung fog lights and mabuti na lang may dala akong led tactical flashlight. when i went to a professional installer yun nga sabi nila mali ang install and mali yung bulb na gamit. i returned the hid that was removed but i was charged 20% for returning the parts.
In fairness, they said na titingnan nila ulit pagbukas para sa injectors next week. Mga possible problem Lang daw yan and their prices. Maganda sa kanila is free checkup kahit scanner use. Thinking of having Central diesel a second look.

That's the thing, coolant ang nagbabawas, oil level is the same. I'm thinking maybe fouled up glow plugs (ginamit kasi for a while when egr was clogged) or plugged egr cooler. Baka di nila nilinisan nung pinalitan.
Blocked/clogged egr with not throw white smoke, mag CEL or pending cel lang yan related to MAF sensor or EGR due to outside acceptable exhaust flow values dahil may bara.
Eto possible causes.
1. Too much oil collecting sa piston or sa intake especially if parked on lng periods.
2. Injector leaking fuel on top of piston if parked too long.
3. If nagbabawas coolant, could be coolant leaking sa egr cooler and hinihigop makina. You can verify if may carbon traces sa coolant.
You can rule out glow plug, alisin mo fuse or relay ng glow plug. If lumala usok, then should be a couple of dead plugs. If same qty. Ng usok lang, not plug related.
Mine is euro 4. Will try to have the MAF cleaned diy.

<70k pa lang ito bro. I think mas mahal kasi mas advanced itong fuel systems ng Bosch compared to mga Denso sa local Jap models.
Mine us Euro 5 no problem at all. 5 years na. Totoo yung sinasabi ni Yebo kapag nag Petron ako dati 2-3 full tanks regenerate na DPF. Kaya nag Vpower na lang ako simula nun, or Caltex mas okay pa.
Sabi ng Hancars no need na i tuned daw ulit yung GS kahit Euro 4 na diesel ngayon

Have to correct myself, talked to Toto of Central Diesel, nirebuild lang pala nila injectors ko. Nalito siguro si Jake re: injector swap. Akala siguro ibang unit.
There's still a little puff of white smoke at cold starts so I'll bring it back when time permits.

Plan ng family namin bumili ng bago sasakyan at GS ang isa sa napupusuan namin meron lamang po ako mga bagay na nais itanong.
1) Hari o Grey market ano ang mas prefer nyo.
2) Saan dealer o branch ang marerecommend nyo na maganda in terms of after sale service, quality ng gawa.
3) If Grey market ang kukunin masisira ba GS sa klase ng diesel na binebenta sa atin.
4) Kaya ba ni GS paahon na daan kahit fully loaded.
4) Any issues na hindi pa naayus ng hyundai sa GS.

Update sa unit ko:
Had the maf, throttle and dpf cleaned. Worked for 2 weeks then low power ulit.
Brought to another diesel shop and good thing injector flow test showed good injectors. Had the egr blanked and temporary oil catch.
To be honest, hirap makahanap ng maayos na shop na hindi raket ang diesel injectors. At least now i know hindi injectors or fuel pump ang problem.
Magloko sya ulit, baka sa berrima diesel next stop.

We are decided on getting a GS as a replacement to our gen2 Everest.
Choose between HiAce Grandia, Grand Carnival and the Peugeot Expert Teepee.
We need the space if all family members are together. Ok sana Hiace kung may "nguso" lang yun. Since the GS will be their daily driver. May 11 seater pa ba sa HARI? I've seen on some pics na ok pa rin ang luggage space sa likod kahit na sa 11 seater GS

wala nnaman 11 seater e. 10 seater ang meron which has 3 row - 3 sa 1st, 3 sa 2nd and 4 sa 3rd row. yan malali space sa likod kahit 6 na maletang wala nang uwian kasya.
11 ba talaga ang sasakay? bili ka ng 2 bucket seats na surplus bolt down mo dun sa rails ng 3rd row, mahaba yung rails nun pwede pa isingit 1 row between 2nd and 3rd rows.

Sa gray market meron bro. All are 4 rows with removable 4th row bench. 12 seater is 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 while 11 seater is 2 (w/ center console) + 3 + 3 + 3. When all seats are in place legroom is short, and almost no cargo space.
Sakto lang sa amin ang 9/10 seater. Occasional lang naman kelangan namin ng more than 9.
Sarap nga sana ng madaming "toys" na starex sa hancars. Pero more to go wrong din. Habol ko lang sa hari eh yung dealer network nila since pareho naman silang may 5 year warranty, pahirapan lang from what i read.
