last help po.... ano po marerecommend nyo?
- which one? HVX or CVX?
- where to buy? HARI or PITSTOP?
im my experience kasi, i always buy from casa to make sure of original parts and warranty.

ano po ba difference ng PITSTOP sa HARI? gray-market po ba ang PITSTOP?

meron po kasi kami kapitbahay sa gray-market bumili. after 5months, bumigay yung aircon then hirap sila kumuha ng replacement parts. they ended up buying the whole aircon system.

if only im there in pinas, i will surely visit showroom. im working abroad kasi and si misis naman nagwo work din. sat & sun bantay sya sa mga bata so wala talaga time. uwi me sa July kaya we are excited to acquire our first Starex

opinyon lang sir.. 1 week na grand starex ng tatay ko..
super comfortble i drive.. kase your seating position is like youre driving
innova or other front engine cars.. unlike sa mga engine under your seats
vans, parang kang nag da drive na lutang katawan mo..

well.. daming bagay to consider.. if you can afford super grandia and your driver will handle this van most of the time then maybe go for it.. iba talaga quality & compactness pagkakagawa ng grandia.. tipong solid lahat even the smallest details.. the best ang seats config, space, ingress & egress of passenger etc.. better to check it out personally para ma appreciate mo.. and kung nagaapura ka sa provincial outlet ka order para shorter waiting time..

but if you will drive it most of the time im suggesting of course the grand starex.. very good to drive.. specially kung captain driver's seat & a/t.. passenger comfort is okey kase spacious na rin.. very quiet inside like sedan cars..very good turning radius & the starex best riding comfort feature is superb (if not fully loaded)..

engine? 174 horsepower, 403 torque is so-so.. but to remind u guys this van is really heavy and built for comfort not to race.. acceleration is good but not as good as hiluxes, santa fe, sorento, alterra m/t, fortuner 3.0 etc..

sa highway crusing panalo to.. napaka stable kahit pa 80 -100 kph and slightly winding road ( your passenger wont notice na mabilis na takbo mo)..
i observed at nlex speeding to 110 kph at 2000 RPM..

comment ko as of now .. malakas sa diesel sana magbago kahit papanu after the 1000 pms , & ramdam mo na sumasaldak na suspension sa likod sa uneven roads or bridge approaches if loaded..
and maingay ang aircon compressor..

After browsing in this thread for a long time and choosing between pitstop and HARI. I finally decided on HARI unit. Deciding factor is warranty. Thank you guys/gals for all the inputs.

After driving the Starex for about 500kms
1. I am satisfied with the engine power, IHMO my 2005 4x4 hilux is more powerful.

2. The riding comfort is ok.

3. Yung visibility ok na din except yung pilar sa harap sa may windshield minsan pagbisikleta or tao di ko makita.

4. Yung busina sobrang hina parang busina ng bisikleta. Change it to bosch kaagad.

5. Yung mating na kasama hindi maganda laging nawawala sa pinaglalgyan.

6. Yung upuan medyo hindi ako comportable parang naliliitan ako. Inisip ko nga palitan ko ng captain seat yung driver side eh.

7. Pindutan ng busina medyo malayo kung hawak mo sa manibela ay 9:00-3:00

8. Sana yung arm-disarm ng alarm/lock-unlock lagyan ng tunog para madali malaman kung na i-lock na sya.

Yung saya ng mga anak (2 and 1yrs old) ko kasi malaki na sasakyan eh haping hapi na rin ako.

Just had my first 1000km free check up at PITSTOP and the service was so fast I was out of there in thirty minutes. Bilis mag palit ng change oil, not sure though kung nag check sila ng mga fluids. Tapos I complained about the radio having weak AM signal. At first I thought the problem would be because of the window type antenna, yun pala hindi lang naikabit ng mabuti yung plug sa likod ng radio ewan ko kung anong plug iyon cguro antenna plug ( I had the original radio removed and replaced with a CD player) . And everything is now ok malinaw rin pala kahit window type antenna. So far so good naman ang service ng PITSTOP.

we just bought a unit from HARI, we chose HARI than the gray market dealers because of the 5 years warranty even if the gray market units are more "bang for buck". we got the icy blue, gold GS.

ang bilis nga nila parang di man lang tiningnan ung mga pang ilalim but maybe since 1000km pa lang
