WOw, I wanna get one also....
WBR,
Ganda! at least nagbago na rin itsura ng Starex after 10 long years. Wag lang sana tumaas masyado yung price.
You mean 300K per reskin? Aba oo nga ano. Less than 800K yung kuha namin sa first H100 namin eh. Pero between our Gold Club and Non-CRDI GRX halos walang difference. Kahit isama mo yung model difference mga 100k lang eh kaya parang biglang talon pa din.
Pero palagay ko at that price and if others come out with diesel variants of their MPV's at their current prices, hindi na magiging as dominant ang starex as an MPV.
Unless maybe they lessen the seats and lower the price some more -- I don't need 12 seats anyway, MPV at car na lang.
The new Starex is not a reskin of the old one.![]()

Need an Ambulance? We sell Zic Brand Oils and Lubricants. Please PM me.
Ah, sorry, reskin pala=facelift? New model then -- 1) H100 2) Current type berfore and after face lift, then yung new, right?
Sana magkaroon ng 8-seater pa din -- na konti lang diprensya sa current model price. OK lang may higher variants siyempre -- maybe with a sunroof and/or 4WD -- pero huwag naman 1.7 and not for just seating capacity.
Parang di naman ganun kalaki ang demand for 12-seaters dito ngayon eh. Palagay ko the current 8-seater Starex outnumbers all the Hi-aces, Previas, and Space Gears combined! Kung yun ang target nila with a 12-seater, tingin ko it's a step back from where they are now.
Sana nga wag sobra taas ang presyo eto. Kailan ba lalabas yan? next month ba?
9 seater yung sa kin, yun ang gustong gusto ko, kasi maluwag yung sa harap. Maliit din yung garahe namin, so madalas, sa passenger side lumalabas ang driver pagka park.
Saw one this morning colored black at binondo.... Parang Space gear ang lapad, mas malapad pa ang dating starex...
WBR,
hindi ba dahil dating kaha ng starex eh medyo mabilog? kaya cguro mas malapad tingnan![]()
Baka kaya din mukhang makitid eh dahil black siya? This now calls for side-by-side comparo between the old and new Starexes. Hmmm... but if it is just as big as the Space Gear, then IMO, it lost one plus that made it very sell-able -- space. But then, it just might've scored a point for those who're considering a van as a daily ride, even if the driver/owner travels alone most of the time.
Anyhow, I'll reserve judgment till I see it in the flesh.
check the link for the dimensions of the new starex
http://carscoop.blogspot.com/2007/05...-known-as.html
From the link posted by asag, it appears that the 2007 Starex is wider by 10 cm than the 2006 model. Their widths are 1,920 mm and 1,820 mm respectively. On the other hand, the 2007 Starex is 4 xm shorter than its predecessor (1,930 mm vs 1,970 mm height), so that cannot be the reason the new one looks narrower.
Mas malapad nga siguro tingnan ang dating Starex kasi mabilog sya.
The visual size of cars really depends on its exterior design. Like the new Pajero, it is larger in almost all dimensions compared to the Gen2.5, but the new Pajero looked a lot smaller.
