How do you distinguish an imitated hummer from a real one?

I saw a fake H2 (color orange, similar to a Civic SIR) at the parking lot of Mandarin Hotel. Sayang nga lang at late ko na napansin, nakunan ko sana ng picture. Its a fake, since even from a far, kitang kita na hindi proportional ang construction. And it uses aftermarket alloy wheels.

H1. . . the width and suspension, coil springs sa front at rear, take note the axle nasa ibabaw ng hub. I rode an H1 military when my friend brought me to Camp Abubakar (Maguindanao). We did some rock crawling, river crossings & mud trailing. . . hanep talaga sa suspension :cool:

I think not. . . fiberglass yata ang body construction eh, i saw one na nabangga hindi nayupi,. . . nag crack.

Not all H1's are up-armored. Only select military models.

Original H1 used a fiberglass hood and aircraft aluminum for the other panels.

What's to pity? Kahit sa U.S. may imitation din naman. The kit-car industry is a worldwide thing. Caterham 7, tons of Cobra replicars, Ferrari kits, etc.

alam ko iyong amc me modification din naman na ginawa sa body ng hummer at export din nila ito sa Australia.

The only thing patented on the Hummer is the 7-slot grille. AMC does not use such grille. Dimensions are also different (to conform to the donor chassis) and to better suit local road conditions.

For one thing, Hummers have good interior....You could easily spot a philippine-made interior from an OEM.

I look for the suspension... Patrol safari kasi ang donor chasis ng karamihan na AMC hammer which uses rigid axles.

wait, wala bang nagtaka kung how a government official can afford an original hummer? i hope its a hammer, or kung orig na hummer, yung galing sa military.

yup, suspension is the easiest way to tell.
