    Guys,
    Do you know anyone who owns a hummer that can be rented to be a bridal car? My bro-in-law really really wants to have this as his bridal car and I promised that I would help out to find one.

    Location of the wedding will be alabang area, reception is the same.
    From hotel in alabang to church and church to reception (all in alabang) lang ang byahe.

Ego tripping lang yang groom na yan... if he really loves his would be wife e dapat sa komportable sya sumakay at malamig aircon at hindi matagtag.... ingress/egress pa lang problema na yan e.. gusto nya mapunit yung singit nung pantalon nya at yung stocking nung bride nya????

    Nothing beats a luxo car... kung meron silang money to burn... kuha na lang sila ng bagong 7 series... imposing for a luxo sedan...

    ako naka-attend na ng dalawang kasal, yun isa white pajero fieldmaster tapos yun isa white expedition na luma.

    Maikli lang naman ang biyahe. In terms of ride quality, if you can survive a stock Safari or Fortuner, you can survive an AMC Hammer. Mas matagtag pa yung FX na araw araw sinasakyan ng commuters. This is basically a rebodied Nissan Patrol GQ we are talking about. Not an owner type jeep. Some units also have upgraded suspension systems as specified by their clients.

    The a/c is cold also. May front and rear a/c vents ang AMC units and hindi pa naman ako nainitan sa kahit aling unit na pinatest nila sa akin dati.

    You can also have a step waiting outside the door to help ingress/egress.

    After riding one, my commander also wants an AMC Hammer. Now it's a toss up between the '46 Ford and the AMC should we decide to tie the knot.

    Pero yung price, baka naman tulad din ng US Hummer.

    Nandito ata sa Paranaque dati yung assemby line nila eh. Dami ko kasi nakikitang lumalabas sa may malapit samin na malaking lot.

    I don't know if they have an assembly facility in the Metro. Their plant is Lucena while their office is in Makati.

    Price is around Php800k++ for a Nissan Safari GQ-based unit.

    Hummer is the name of the original. The one made by AM General.

    The local units are called Hammer.

    AFAIK, local units are officially called 'Toy Wagons' by the manufacturer (AMC).
