Relax, if the CR-V goes as high as 1.7 M, it will be for the top-end 10-liter six-wheel drive version. My take is that as a key seller for Honda Philippines, they will have a cheaper version available in the 1.3 to 1.4 M range. Toyota has the Fortuner so the RAV4 can afford to go upmarket... the RAV4 probably needs to anyway for the sake of product differentiation and positioning. But Honda doesn't have any other SUV so it will shoot itself in the foot if it prices too high.
