mukhang may defect nga. kahit mahina makina dapat hindi mamamatay yung makina e. baka may sira yung sensors.

The weakest car I've ever driven, as far as power:weight ratio, was the Getz 1.1L. But give it enough gas and it will still deliver... eventually. I'm sure the '09 City 1.3L 'should' be able to handle most inclines without any major issues. How fast it can do it is another thing.
I would say that the TS's problems with their City is an isolated case. Honda should really get their heads out of their *$$3$ and deal with it. If it's a quality issue, they stand to gain from it if their QA can figure out how they got it wrong with this particular car.
Are you serious? Ang dami namang lemon ng Honda hahaha. Baka may lemon trees sila na pinapalaki hahaha.Of course yung ipinalit, ibebenta ulit nila, just reset the ODO to at least 10km in less than 15 minutes and detailing nalang.
or baka sa clutch? or meron ba kakaiba tunog sa makina? or parang nag hihingalo pag naka idle?
... to the high heavens of the inner depth of the acceleratior! and there goes your FC! hehehehe... :peace:
i agree with spyro. yung alto nga pwedeng umakyat nga dito eh then the more we should have expectations on the City indeed.
i do hope the issue should be resolved quickly. If Honda is increasing the mileage coupled with wear and tear of that particular City through their guinea-pig experiments, malalaspag yung kotse na yan...
changing the unit MISMO is probably the best option if no resolution comes in 2-3 weeks time.![]()
Like I said, hit or miss talaga ang "lemon" unit.
Nangangamoy = Clutch. Feeling ko lng, transmission problem, Clutch is sliding.
your right, kasi kung fuel pump kaagad, idle palang mamamatay na. possible clutch pero.....
a sliding clutch hindi magreresulta na palagi kang mamamatayan I assure you this. Ganito kasi pag sliding clutch, kunwari nasa inclined road ka. You rev as hard as you can, pero umaatras ka pa rin kahit dis-engaged ang clutch mo while reving hard. (galit makina tapos kahit naka-kambyo eh parang neutral lang hehe)
How about distributor?
as i read my brochure files, ang 09 city and jazz ay drive-by-wire. so may throttle sensor yan.. baka dun ang defect...
She should get a lawyer to help her get what is right for her.
I've driven the 1.3S AT of this model and it's pretty okay. Even fully loaded, the AT version can go up to 180kmh (the fastest I've tried so far at SCTEX).
Hi All!
I just can't believe me nakalulusot sa QA ng Honda...
I think 17 deg uphill is not so steep. Talagang may problem yung 1.3 na un. Bka stockup yung brake pads nia kaya may nangangamoy. Anyway, Ung Ford Laser '82 1.3 ko nga nakkaakyat pa ng People's Park,e. Ung city1.5 ko nasubukan ko sa 45deg (with 1 passenger) 1st gear, rpm nia is 1500 lng.
totoo maraming lemon ang city 09. I was suppose to buy this car but my cousin who works in Honda persuaded me not to buy the model since marami daw lemon. His mom and dad was also suppose to buy 09 city pero he also told them na wag muna since he will not know if lemon ung bibilhin nila.
Hello Sir,
Share ko lang ung sakin. Although I'm driving a Honda Civic '99 I had the same problem nung kagaya sayo... nawawala ung power, tapos minsan parang pump boat na ung tunog ng makina... pero once I restart the engine nabalik naman sa normal. I went to Honda Manila (I suggest you go to this service branch) for a check, hindi nila makita ung problema, and just asked me to keep observing my car. And so I did. After a few months nagiging mas madalas na ung ganitong incident sa oto ko then one morning wala na! kahit irestart ko pa talagang parang pagong na ung andar ng oto so I decided to drive my turtle type civic to Honda Manila and did not turn off my engine para makita at marinig ng service crew ung problema.
They checked my fuel pump = ok
they checked my fuel line = ok
My idle = ok
My spark plugs = ok
My high tension wire = ok
As in lahat ok. Pero since ok ung service tech na kausap ko (His name is Franco) He decided to check the wirings kahit na pag tinignan nila sa kung ano man tawag nila dun sa gadget nila na sinasalpak sa comp. box para makita ung damage e pinapakita normal.
It turned out na may damaged na wirings ung oto ko.. nginatngat ng daga pala!!! kasi naitambak ko un for almost 1yr kasi umalis ako ng bansa...
Anyways since mahaba na ung storya ko, just sharing this incident baka kasi wirings ung problema nung oto nyo at hindi mechanical.
Haba no? sorry hehe! :fetch1:
One more advice... kung July lang nabili ung oto mo qualified ka pa sa 2yrs warranty nyan... dapat sagot nila ung problema ng oto mo... either fix the car or change unit. Wag ka muna gumastos for a lawsuit baka madaan pa yan sa matinong usapan... :war: But if all things fail... Sue them! :diablo: :regards:
