vti slow acceleration

have a 96vti a/t, minsan parang pigil acceleration sa 1st gear, there are times nmn n fast acceleration nya, also experienced this before in my 94gli lancer , is this normal for an efi engine or there is something not right? is there something i need to adjust or something just to maintain a fast acceleration in 1st gear? TIA

Try to adjust the accelerator cable, tighten the cable but be sure not to make the RPM higher by tightening . have a little sluck when you move the center cable back n forth. You will the difference in acceleration.
