Good day mga sir. We're planning to buy a used 2005-2007 GD Jazz 1.5L, manual transmission. Is it a good buy? Any problems to look out for? Ano po ang average fuel consumption(city/highway)? How much should I pay for one? (wala po akong idea sa market price)
Thanks in advance!

It should give you better than 12Km/L city driving, and better than 16Km/L highway driving.... Depends on your driving style, though....

Yes bro.renzo_d10, our previous Jazz was 1.3L CVT iDSI.
And, I was getting 12Km/L city; and 16Km/L highway....
I was just guessing his expected number since it's going to be 1.5L VTEC for him (better power to weight ratio) and M/T.....
The current City that we have is just a bit lower in Km/L performance, probably because of the current e10 flavor of our petrol.

I owned a 2005 Honda Jazz 1.3 A/T for 5 years and just sold it last year.
What to look out for? Hmmm. If the previous owner took good care of the car with the proper preventive maintenance, the car shouldn't give you any problems at all. Be wary of what model you will buy though. Some models are selling less than 400k, and these are the imported ones that passed thru Port Irene. I suggest you acquire a local version with a good maintenance record.
A good unit should come in between 410k and 450k. As in any other car, make sure lang di nabangga or na-Ondoy.
