Type Z owners, usap tayo.. :)

hi guys.. musta mga type Z niyo?.. hingi lang sana ko advice.. got my Honda City 2002 Type Z A/T just a couple of weeks ago.. gusto ko lang sana siya mas pa-"pogi"-in pa.. ano kayang mga modifications ma-su-suggest niyo sakin?

sa inyo,kamusta mga tsikot niyo?..anong mga mods ginawa niyo?

akin so far ayun,since all stock siya nung nakuha ko, pina-tint ko palang, pinalagyan power locks and nagpakabit ako spoiler..

balak ko sana palagyan ng leather/leatherette seat covers, anon KULAY kaya maganda???? RED nga po pala type Z ko..

im not a type Z owner, but if you want to make papogi, you start with a set of great rims.
i am not a fan of spoilers, unless i would be driving somewhere which requires downforce.
i also shun leather seat covers, cooks my balls specially during summer.
i also shun stickers.... ewan ko ba, nababaduyan ako....

sa akin, ok na yung great tints, nice mags and excellent sound setup. upgrading the headlights to a higher output one is also optional.
but then, to each his own yan.

sana di masyado malaki spoiler mo TS, yung tipong parang ducktail lang sana... I used to drive a honda city type z... ang gaan idrive kahit na manual yun sobrang lambot nang clutch at sobrang bilis nang response.. hehehe..

I used to drive a typeZ as well. Very fun to drive. Magaan, mabilis matipid.

The only mods I did before:
1. Changed rims to circuit8
2. 1.5 inch drop
3. Chambered muffler

up ko lang po etong thread. may problema po ako sa engine ng type Z ko, tunog diesel. nagpa valve clearance adjustment ako sa honda at di nila maitama dahil matunog parin. may tama na daw mga rocker arm ko kaya mas lalo umingay ung engine matapos nila nilisin mga rocker arm. di ko rin sure kung tama ung procedure sa pag adjust nung pinanood ko. iba procedure nila sa manual ng honda. may nakapag try na po ba sa inyo magpa valve clearance adjust? ano po na yung tamang step nun? wala na po ba solusyun pag may tama na o may mga gasgas rocker arm? slamat po..

Hello meron n b ditong nkapag palit ng steering wheel into aftermarket product ng Honda city type Z? Anong boss kit hub ba ang compatible? Tried OH-172 pero di fit.

For me the simple Type Z is the best looking City. Low beltline, large greenhouse. Good proportions.



The later ones are over-styled and high-sided with a wedge shape that makes the wheels appear to be too small.

In my own opinion, you intend to customised it. Baka instead di magkaproblema ay magkaproblema ka pa lalo. I suggest lang, mapapagastos ka nga lang, kasi naloko ka ng nabilhan mo na di sinabi na pinalitan pala yun tranny nang hindi para sa modelo nyan car mo. My suggestion, is find and scout surplus shop where you can buy its tranny for your car model.

Mabigat sa bulsa yan sir pero maganda ang suggestion mo...magkano kaya surplus tranny for type z 2000 model.. Saan kaya may surplus dto sa pampanga...kung walang remedyo sa problem ko eh no choice na... Tnx sir

Mga sir patulong naman sa honda city 2000 namin. May toktok sound, ok na head parts pinalitan na andun pa rin, replaced na din bearing sa crankshaft and con rod, na reface na din ang crankshaft jornals, andun pa din. Ano pa ba pwedeng mag ingay dun sa loob, pistons di naman maluwag ok din yung piston pin and con rod

Haven't drove a getz only a kia rio 1.4 2010 kaya di ko ma compare pero maintenance cost, sa pyesa mas mataas honda compared sa kia rio, power same kasi 1.5 city namin, fuel efficiency saludo ako sa city, ling distance reliability same lang yan as long as you maintained your auto well
