K&N filters are way better than simota...

price? not that sure, estimate of 7k?... more or less

Buy a simota tube made for the SiR. This is the cheapest tube option, costing even less than fabricating it yourself... then sell off the Simota filter that comes with it and buy a K&N cone to stick on the end.
