nabasa ko lang dito tong short ram intake. totoo bang mas maririnig yung pagopen ng vtec pag nagpalagay nito? ano nga pala pros and cons kung magpapakabit ako nito?

car ko is a 97 honda civic VTI model. all stock pa kasi siya. yun lang sana gusto ko paltan, para rinig sana yung vtec hehe.

isa pa nga pala, magkano yung ganito? anong brand yung maganda?

Been using simota short ram on my d15b since march 2009.
    Back to stock this november.

What I did was just removed the resonators and extra plastic ducts on the stock air intake system... so parang nakarekta na rin yung higop ng hangin sa drop-in...

Parang mas lumakas ang hatak, and less risk of splashing water sa filter since may airbox nga eh (since hindi na siya open type)....

Am planning to install 421 headers to further boost low-end torque, para mas tipid sa gas...

Note that buying the K&N filter alone is now 4-5k pesos, so medyo sulit na yun...

Only problem with a short ram is heat-soak in traffic... pero puwedeng i-limit to kung lalagyan ng heat-shield.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Sir niky kit na ba yan? Where can I buy a cheaper K&N kit. wala ako makita ng kasing laki ng sa intake ko 4"5 inside diameter, I guess I have to change my intake kit to standard size which is 3" inside diameter

There is no cheaper "K&N kit". You can get a Simota kit for 2.5k, then a K&N head for 4.5k, and in the end, you'll spend the same amount of money... at least you'll have an extra filter...

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
