Guys I really need your opinions

IMO, if I'm sure about selling I will inhibit from posting as such.

But to answer, if you could get a better price then why not.

If your insurance will pay you a decent amount once you sign it out as a total wreck, enough for you to buy a new car, then sell it.
if you choose to hold onto it, however,... the engine can be resurrected. and the body will still probably have good rust protection, considering it's new. magkano ba ang participation fee, less than 5K, 'di ba? and what kind of warranty will the casa give you afterward?
so, how much are you willing to fork out? are you willing to pay for peace of mind?

I'd say keep it. Since covered naman ng AoG plus all parts will be coming from the casa. Babaratin ka lang ng buyer as pointed out by archie123456789 if you do decide to sell it.

Sad to hear about that bro..

Ayan o, may buyer na. )

Not sure I'd like a 2.0FD other than an MT though.

Though the exterior differences from the 1.8 do look nice (rims/sidemirrors, etc).

^^^ Madali lang bumili ng aftermarket rims and LED sidemirrors

Kicker talaga yung K20 eh (although A/T only nga lang).

thanks mabilis ang replies nyo. As of now, iniintay ko pa yung result ng mga nasirang parts.

At kapag bebenta ko, 700k would be the lowest value. Yung optra ko rin may buyer na so sana kayang i cash yung bago.

Actor, if you are sure about that, give me a good offer. Mine is a/t, year 2008, color red and 8000 kms odo reading

Kung trip mo talaga kumuha, then go for it.

I personally don't see the point of getting the 2.0S now for (ALMOST) purely cosmetic changes.

I'd rather get another 1.8S AT with the paddle shifters.

Take note that the 2.0S is no longer the 2.0S-L. No more 6disc-in-dash, VSA, curtain airbags, chrome door handles. What remains are the 17" Si rims, EPS, leather seats, side mirror turn lamps, steering wheel audio controls (you can have this done outside, and add cruise control to boot!) and the K20 engine.

Yeah the new 2.0S IMO is no longer the old 2.0S-L...

Para sakin stick pa din sa lumang 1.8S tapos after a few years mo na tsaka ibenta (makakalimutan na ng tao yung Ondoy and if your car does not act up you can still sell it at market value not baha value) afterall the FD line should just be 3 years na lang and a new Civic should be upon us kaya para sakin din narin ok bumili ng FD right now especially if your old car was also an FD...

GOODLUCK.

This sounds about right...because considered as refurbished car na yun after magawa ng casa.

IMO, wait until you get the car back before you decide. Itemize also that all affected parts were replaced and everything was cleaned and detailed well. If its all good then keep it and use it.

My family had a flood damaged vehicle before and we did a hands-on resto job with the mechanic and it turned very well.

Kung may buyer ako, i would probably sell it, but then again, mahirap din maghanap ng kapalit kasi di mo din alam kung nabaha. At least sayo alam mo yun condition before nabaha.

Re: void ang warranty - Wow that sucks... I think it's only fair on the part of the car manufacturer...

Btw, I saw an ad for 2007 2.0 FD, 899k asking..
