Seatbelt alarm turns on after cold start.

Guys, Jazz'10 owner po, na encounter nyo na ba after cold start ang engine sabay bigla tumunog ung seatbelt alarm? yung "tit-tit-tit-tit" na sound. normally kc tumutunog lang ang seatbelt alarm kapag bagong insert yung car key w/o putting on the seatbelt or while driving w/o using seatbelt. pero once lang ito nangyari. na curious lang ako. sinubukan ko ulitin ayaw na tumunog ng seatbelt alarm after starting the engine. ginagawa ko kc inaantay ko muna mawala ung ilaw ng "Check Engine /Malfunction Indicator LAMP" bago e start ang engine. hehe!

my own experience, whenever i'm driving w/out using the setbelt the speedo must be * 20kph or above bago sya mag-alarm. then after 10 beeps titigil na sya parang ibig sabihin....bahala ka na nga!! hahaha!!

If it does not happen again bro.,- maybe it is just a glitch in the system.

Anyway, nothing to worry there, as it is intended only as a reminder that you should wear your seatbelt for you and your passengers' protection.

Going back to this thread, na e-encounter ko na ulit ito from time to time, may times kapag nag start ako ng kotse twing morning (cold start) . one click lang nag start na kagad pero parang nag rerestart yung dashboard kc nga biglang tumutunog ulit yung "put on ur seatbelt" warning sound. normally kc bago ako mag start kapag pinasok yung key then turn key to "ignition I" mag turn on na mga light signals sa dashboard and tutunog yung "put on ur seatbelt" warning sound kpag d pa suot ung seatbelt and turn the ignition to start the engine. Battery kaya ang problem nito? kc kaka PMS ko lng and sabi ng SA need na daw palitan ung battery kahit ok pa ang charging.

There are two distinct warning tone patterns on a Honda.

The first one is a repeating groups of 4 short tones, much like the one you described. This is the "key in ignition" reminder. When the door is open and the key is inserted and set to OFF or ACC, this alarm will sound.

The other one is a group of 6 long tones. This is the seatbelt warning tone. This will sound off if you turn the key to ON or START with the seatbelt unbuckled. This will also sound if you unbuckle the seatbelt or if the handbrake is engaged while the car is in motion.

There was a similar topic either here or on teamfd about the digital gauges "rebooting" at random, exactly as you've described. This was on a Civic FD, obviously. I can no longer recall what was done. I hope your car is still within the 3-year warranty.

dun sa carens namin nangyayari din yan... minsan bigla nalang tutunog yung seat belt alarm kahit umaandar na.. parang tingin ko glitch lang sya or naka receive ng interference kaya ganun... tapos biglang ok na...
