November 13th, 2010 09:22 PM #13I also agree with bong06 and otil_flores. I am also one of the satisfied customers of Mel Casaba. I found him thru sulit.com and even encouraged him to put up his own shop here in Cavite since I know maraming Car enthusiasts din dito, nung first time ko sya nakausap sa celfon nya nung na-iinquire ako. During that time po kasi, He also had his repair shop with a biz partner in Paranaque kaya I adviced him na magput-up sana dito para malapit na rin kami hehehe. Buti na lang may house din pala sya dito that's why he decided to put up his own shop here. If you happen to know Cavite, from Bacoor up to Dasmarinas halos tabi tabi ang mga repair shops, which proves that automotive repair shop here sounds good in business but the downside is, ang hirap magtiwala dito dahil unang-una taga sa presyo, di ka man lang masatisfied sa trabaho and yet sasakit lang ulo at bulsa mo.
When I had the chance to visit personally Mr. Casaba's newly opened shop in Dasmarinas a few months back, I was really satisfied with his job. You can check-out my post regarding his job done on my ESi 93. Just browse my old posts. Ang tulong ko na lang din sa kanya is to give him referral thru word of mouth or thru this forum. The point is, you won't get deceived by other mechanic and shops that would charge you a sky-rocketed amount and yet, di naman din ganun ka-satisfied. You may also find a shop/mechanic here that also does good on HONDA cars and other car brands kaya lang 200-300% ang taas ng singil compared to Mr. Casaba.
Personally, I don't know bong and otil_flores. Nakikita ko lang din ang mga posts nila dito. And mind you, may narefer na rin akong mga ka-forum din natin dito for ECU REPAIR pero ibang technician naman po yun but he's also residing here in IMUS. Got 3 clients that I had referred to that ECU TECHNICIAN guy and so far ok naman ang gawa.
GOOD DEEDS=GOOD KARMA!!!
Oh by the way, Bong I knew ikaw yung nakasabay ko dun sa shop ni Mel last September I think? I just browsed this forum recently lang and I recall your name and thinking ikaw yun hehehhe. I owned Honda ESi '93 (matic/colored red). THanks and Sana po makatulong.
GOD BLESS!!
Ms. Fannie

November 15th, 2010 01:54 PM #14Dito po sa may kanto ng Salitran sa Dasma Cavite.Galing po ako dun kahapon, nagastos ko lang po is less than 2500php.Below are the activities being done:
Timing belt labor replacement - binigay niya ng 800 only(1000-1200 ata yung talagang singil nya).
Knock sensor part - 1200(kasama na ata dun labor)
Others:
1.cleaned servo and intake manifold(Kailangan daw tanggalin manifold para maikabit ng maayos yung knock sensor
2.Adjusted valve clearances
3.Checked and adjusted spark plug gaps
Bumili lang ako idler bearing for 150php sa auto supply.
Good thing is sinasabi nya kung ano kailangang palitan para di lumala yung ibang sira na malapit na or para maiwasan sa malaking gastos at i drive test daw namin.Mukhang convincing and marunong siya magbasa ng error codes.Specialized din siya sa automatic transmission.Kahit ibang cars daw kaya nya.
Try nyo po!
