you have a 1.5 liter non vtec engine. it's already a big deal na nakapag 160kph ka.
i dont think it can go faster than that. yung previous Lxi ko nga can only do 140kph hirap na.
without modifications, you cannot reach 180kph.
actually sir stock lng yung lxi ko.mags lng napalitan from 13 to 15 at yung air filter. yung 160 saglit lang naman nya makuha.especially 140kph.
mabilis talaga mag accelerate mga honda civics. they're designed mostly for fine handling and sprinting, also to carry passengers, hehe.
the ph15 non-vtec engines are not race engines. even the ph16 vtecs aren't either. run them at 6,000RPM for long periods without upgrading internal parts and you will most likely blow out the headgasket, or worse - considering the age of the engine.
AFAIK, EFI na po lahat ng stock engines (vtec and non-vtec) ng EK Civic (model 96 up) ...
Dapat masaya ka na sa 160kph.
Although I never had a civic like that ...
Alam ko, ganyan lang ang kaya niyan.
If you want to be faster, do an engine swap.
B16a would be the most practical.
Easy to tune, and parts are readily available too since b16a is the stock engine of the SiR.
as far as i know. ang civic lxi 99-2000 lang ang efi mga sir. yung mga SIR body...
sir Renzo mga mgakano kaya budget f magchange engine ako to b16a yung stock engine ng SIR
matanong ko lang mga guru.since i changed my stock 13" rim to 15" yung stock mags ng SIR. yung 160kph ba sa speedometer ko e tama?
