    magandang araw mga sir's, sana matulungan nyo ko..ang problema ng honda esi ko na Lxi ang engine na d15b, kapag masyadong mainit tapos bukas ang aircon after mga 30mins at lampas na sa kalahati ng temp meter ang range ng temp bigla na lang nag susurge ung rpm ko habang on the way...from 3000rpm biglang tumataas ng 6000rpm...tapos kapag pinatay na yung aircon at bumaba na ulit yung temp nya normal naman yung rpm nya..nangyayari lang po ito kapagtanghaling tapat o sobrang init..nagpalit na rin po ako ng 2 rows na radiator mas nag improve po yung cooling nya..kapag umiinit lang po talaga ganun yung nangyayari..ano po kayang cause non?..at ano po ang pwede kong gawin?..maraming salamat po in advance!!

    Sir, first things first:

    1. Regardless of engine, EG gauge cluster normal temperature indicator should be just 1/4 in the gauge. If it reaches 1/2, hindi na po ito normal.
    2. Masyado po mataas ang 3,000 rpm na idle/menor (another indication na hindi po normal).
    3. LXi engine is PH15A; D15B is a Japanese/JDM engine.

    Sir, pa-check niyo po yung electricals ng cooling system niyo, particularly yung thermoswitch. Ipa-rekta niyo po muna (yung non-stop yung fan) then observe. Pag hindi na po nag-recur yung problem, mataas po ang probability na ang sira ay sa thermoswitch at umaasa na lang sa ambient ram air (read: hangin sa labas ng auto) yung cooling niyo.

    My vti is normal at half (almost, sa ilalim lang ng parang banka).

    I had the same problem couple of years ago. it started with a dirty iacv, then sometimes rpm surges and etc. Previously it can be controlled by turning the engine off and on again until erratic na siya.

    Might be one of the sensors connected to iacv, bad thing sa pagkakatanda ko sa hondaph forum normally tinatamaan ecu nito pag any of the iacv sensor became defective. End up huying surplus sensor and surplus ecu.
