hey guys i hope some of you can help/assist me in restoring my recently acquired SiR. Mahilig kasi ako mag-DIY but I still need your knowledge about this car since first time ko mag-handle ng honda.
1. I just found this connector hanging on the engine bay. San ba dapat naka-connect to? I cant see any sensor na posibleng kinakabitan nya...
2. This 2 wire w/o connection also... nakakabit kasi yung other end sa exhaust manifold. I'm still researching about this one. Di ko pa din makita.
3. Vacuum hose beneath the throtle body. Naka-blind sya. Dun sa nakita kong manual ng b16, if Im right, nakakonek sya dapat sa IACV. Tama ba?
4. I noticed my radiator fan is always running even at cold start. so when i check the thermo switch, eto ang nakita ko... mgkasama na yung 2 wires attached to blue/yellow wire & ground.
What color ng wire?
thanks in advance.

By the looks of it, the car's thermo switch electricals have been altered.

naka recta yung thermoswitch. that's a bad sign.
first pic looks like a temp control switch. do you have low temp even while running for extended periods?
i would also check for a leaking radiator and a removed thermostat, which you should replace. replace thermostat and thermoswitch with the wiring.
you can bypass the thermoswitch controls altogether and use a piece of wire to bridge the fan control using the control system of the aircon (check the fusebox in the engine). this way, your radiator fan turns only when you switch on the a/c. its not recommended but at least its bettr than running with the fan on all the time.

thanks sa lahat for you reply & comments.
siguro i will bring nalang the car to a reputable shop muna to assess everything. I intend to check & re-condition some parts as much as i can.
obviously, hindi marunong talaga mag-alaga yung previous owner. He's not like one of us guys! actually hindi lang yang nasa pic ang nakita ko na hindi maganda. I also have some photos.
btw, any comments sa pics no. 2 & 3?

Thought going through my mind, could it be you bought a Vti that had a B16 engine swap?
Is your Civic's windows framed by black or silver colored metal trim?

considering a Ferrari has an average price range of 20-25M. multiply that with 666 units sold then...
