hi guys nice to see some LX owners here. mejo mahirap na ba maghanap ng carb? kasi my brother have an LX din and he doesnt have problems with consumption. i think it all depends on your driving style. last time i used it from tarlac to bataan it cost me around P300 lang. steady driving and normal acceleration lang.

im not sure menggoy parang nasa 110 to 115 km ang tarlac to bataan actually malapit lang yun kasi may SCTEX, best one i did was around 17 to 18km/l. but that was a "budget run". no aircon, and im keeping it bellow 2500 rpm lang and for long travel i make sure tire pressure is a little above recommended para low rolling resistance. as for the engine, nothing special, its been with the family kasi since 1995, my father brought it brand new. kaya naalagaan sa check up. di sha laspag kasi 2nd car lang sha. they cant sell the car kasi sobrang tipid. i cant match the consumption with my esi kahit ano gawin ko.

17-18km/L sa highway driving?! ang lupet naman nun. there something in your car. sumasabay sa honda jazz. sa inyo lang na lx car ang naringgan ko ng ganyang fuel consumption. might as well keep that car. its a rare one. efi engine does 10km/L on city driving and 12-13km/L on highway. nakakainggit yang kotse mo. sana maging ganyan din samin.
ilang tire pressure nilalagay mo?
kind of oil youre using on lx?
additives?
stock engine and carb?
hope you can answer my questions para rin sa ibang lx owners dito. konti na lang kasi tayo kaya tayo tayo nalang magtutulungan.

depends on your tire sir. or look at the tire pressure indicated sa driverside door mo. then add 1 or 2 psi. im not recommending ha, but if you think about it, having a right tire pressure (in my case a little bit more) would decrease the rolling resistance of your tires. bone stock ang engine nya kasi extra car lang sha so its useless to upgrade it. kaya im stressing out the rolling resistance kasi ganito ginagawa ko. on the expressway, you speed up constantly changing gears within 2.5k to 3k rpms. there will be a point where your in the 5th gear ad youll be around 100 to 110kmh and your rpm will be near 3k rpm then i go to neutral. yes neutral. and coast until im gonna reach 80kmh. then i shift to gear and steadily accelerate and reach 110kmh again. so it depends on your driving style talaga. and cguro sa type of roads you are driving at.
i know its boring and youll stay at the right side of the express way while people on your left pass you by. but eventually dadating ka rin naman sa pupuntahan mo and youll not feel like nag sunog ka ng pera dahil if youll look at the fuel gauge youll be satisfied.

Wow nice! naka 17 ang lx mo? di ba matagtag? i have a d15b engined esi naka 15 inch. gusto ko sana mga 17 but not sure baka kasi matagtag. anyway, as for the lx, stock rims lang sha. yung 13 inch rims and tires. as for the oil, ang alam ko last time na nag pachage oil sila castrol gtx, i believe 10w40 yun.
