June 7th, 2013 03:10 AM #1Hi Sirs,
Ask ko lang kasi nung nakuha ko itong kotse ko 2nd hand, tapos nung me nabasa akong user's manual, Me instructions dun pano palitan yung cabin air filter, sinunod ko, and to my surprise, walang laman na air filter yung casings, so I went to Casa, asked if I could buy one, hindi daw sila nagkakabit nun, He even showed me their catalog at wala syang part number pero nandun sya sa picture.
If not, san kaya makakabili nun? Im looking to DIY this with Aircon filter na nabibili sa Ace hardware kung wala akong makikitang filter elements nito
Another question, yung air filter box ko under the hood, na lose thread yung dalawang screw holes, mukhang hinigpitan masyado nung huling nagkabit nung air filter element nag crack dun sa may threads ng screw holes. may remedyo pa ba dito? Or need tong palitan? If need palitan san nakakabili nun?
Thanks po in advance!

is there any damage to the a/c? if not, baka naman hindi talaga kailangan. If your really worried, go to auto shops and find specific measurements of the filter at baka may kapareho. yung iba stocking lang with a thin cotton layer to act as filters.

I want to stay stock as possible.

June 7th, 2013 09:05 PM #10Madaming mas magandang air filters kaysa oem. Kung gusto mo ng oem, then you'll be shelling out more money for paper filters, nothing special to it. Bilin mo sa dealership if they still carry your car's air filters. If you're willing to step out of your comfort zone, there are so many products out there that will fair better than oem filters. I recently replaced my cabin air filter with arm and hammer brand - am a happy camper.
