93 octane rating should be ok, it is actually high enough for an econo car. Honda City doesn't require a much higher octane rating since it is not a high compression engine (e.g., turbo charged or supercharged engines - Evo X, WRX-STI, MB, BMW, Audi, and other cars with high-end engines). Having said that, a higher octane rating will just waste money for Honda City.
But then again, it will boil down to individual owners. It is the owner's car, taste, and (most especially) money. If the owner thinks a higher octane rating can make the car a super car, then let him/her fill it up with the most expensive fuel available.
These are mostly city driving. Usual route is from Taytay to Makati/QC/Ortigas. I don't care what others say na extra gastos lang. Based from tests yung sakin kaya that's what I believe. I use the full tank method, btw.
My car is Honda City 2006 1.5VTEC AT and medyo harabas din ako magdrive. :P
