December 6th, 2009 11:31 PM #2Kapag stop-and-go traffic mas malakas talaga yung Accord sa gas.
Pagdating sa EK Civic naman, SiR look models (both VTi and LXi) are those from mid-1998 up. Kapag before that, baka yung luma pa makuha mo.
Not sure really what to check on 2nd hand cars. Maybe others can enlighten you about this.

Try to consider Nissan Sentra Exalta STA. It has the best interior in its class, equipped with sunroof. More features than Honda Civic.

If you're going to get a lxi/vti then convert it to SIR look...then much better to save up na lang muna then go get an SIR In that way, di ka na magmo-mods pa....ganoon din magagasta mo eh

For a 200k to 250k budget, Honda Civic Vti 96 to 98 model fits you budget, if Accord it's around 96 to 97 (old look).

December 8th, 2009 01:41 AM #8to check the market, get car finder magazine or browse the internet. the range of prices will be there. but beware! the cheaper cars will probably require additional expenses to bring it up to "acceptable" standards.
how to know if the car had been in an accident? you can't. unless the owner tells you. it's so easy to hide bad repair jobs from "ignorant" buyers. bring a knowledgeable mekaniko or someone, to look over the car with you. even if you have to pay him handsomely. believe me, the price of this person can be a lot cheaper than you can imagine, kung mamalasin ka.
