No cheap way to get more power from your engine.
Lots of horsepower costs lots of money.
Cheapest way to get more performance is to lighten your car. Anything heavy should be removed. Rear seats, spare tire, jack, tools, junk in the seats and trunk, sound deadening material, carpet, headliner, muffler, door panels, etc
palagay ka ng headers 20% of hp.ang madagdag, its proven to.o kya bili ka ng racing cheaps.medyo mahal nga lng to.
Depends on how bad the factory stuff were designed. More recent factory stuff are actually pretty good already.
well, its probably dyno proven to increase your engine's HP.OT: may hotpipes set na for altis from speedlab
is the price reasonable?
It might be possible do a before/after test to check if you really gain anything.
Sa lahat ng nag reply sa question/post ko maraming maraming salamat,it helped me a lot. thnak you very much![]()
Depende kung ilang HP ang gusto mong idagdag. Gaya nga ng nabanggit nila, adding power to your engine comes with a price.
May I suggest K&N intake to start with. Although it doesn't involve engine mods, medyo makakadagdag na rin ito sa hatak. Moreover, it's cheaper.
Goodluck!
buy a knn drop-in filter (remove the plastic plumbing under the intake box) - 3.5K
replace exhaust down pipe (retain the exhaust manifold) and change exhaust plumbing to 2" mandrel bent - 4k muffler land
get apexi vafc or safc, kahit yung luma - 5k
wide band tuning - 2.5k (depende kung kanino)
more or less 15k.
Beyond lightening, the most cost-effective mods you can do are getting a secondhand set of JASMA headers... Spoon or DC will do... an air intake (K&N head, please), an exhaust and a V-AFC. Should set you back a total of 30k pesos for a gain of 15-20 hp. Beyond that, other solutions are no longer cost-effective, and it'll be cheaper to swap out to a B16A than to build up the D16 in your car.
Even easier? Swap your car for an SiR. Just pony up the 80-100k difference in resale value.![]()
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
