Can someone please confirm if a 1997 Honda Civic VTI has the 16-pin OBD2 port? I cannot find one in my car, although online readings suggest that it should have one installed.

Or was it really not included in the models released here in the Philippines?

    Thanks.

obd 1 po civic hangnang year 2000. take the kick panel out sa passenger side, nandun yung ecu then near the fire wall you will see a 2 pin with 3 pin socket (its color green) na may cover. jump the 2 pin (its the pin with brown and black wire) and you can read the fault codes.

Thanks for the replies. I believe that indeed my car is not equipped with OBD2.

It seems that this is one of the features that Honda excluded in the Philippine version of the Civic even though car manufacturers were mandated to include the OBD2 starting from 1996.
