I suggest go to ayosdito.ph. They have listings of honda civic there. Madali pa kausap mga sellers. Pasok na pasok sa budget mo.

Be wary of flooded units since we already had 2 episodes of deluge. Bring your trusted mechanic when scouting around for a unit. Don't be in a hurry, for sure there are a lot of units out there for sale, to get the best deal ----> patience is required.

If I were in your shoes I'd get a 1.6 Vti, but based on your budget you might not have enough for repairs, plus the range of 2002 up civics are at 250 to 280k up.

Civic ES (2001-2005) are still valued above 250k in the resale market. The LXi models could be had for less but they have less features than the VTi or VTi-S models. The LXi models also come with the non-VTEC engines. At 250k max for a Honda, maybe you can get a late model Civic EK (1999-2000) or a 2000 City Type Z or a 6th gen Accord (98-02). If you're not into those models, you can look to other brands on the same price range - Sentra Exalta N16s (2001-2003) or A32 Cefiros (2000-2002) or Lancer Cedia GLS/MX (2001-2003) or Galant (2000-2002) or Corolla Lovelife (99-01).
