As with most cars watch out for the x40,000 km checkup. That's usually when a lot of things have to be replaced and checked, such as the brake pads and shoes.

70+% of the braking power of the Jazzes and Cities is at the front, and the engine sort of hangs off the front axle, so brake pads are a
usual inspection item for the casa at around 35,000 km.

Word to the wise: Save up early for the 40,000 km checkup.

As for my experience, I usually don't follow the six-months rule. I opt to go by the odometer reading instead, so my service stops cover about 10 months. So far so good.

Is it dahil 15Tkm pa lang yung kotse? The car is 2006 model so i am wondering why...

    thanks again sa input

Baka hindi lang daily driven yung kotse. The City you got may have been a second or third car for occasional use.

My last two cars have been second-hand motors; I took them to the casa for tuneup ASAP after I acquired them.

Type100, Sir thanks sa palagi mong reply sa akin...
nagpost ako sa kabilang forum (Comparisons) regarding the car type ive chose and now eh kinakabahan ako kc ang CVT daw eh hindi reliable?

The longevity of the CVT will depend on a lot of things: driving style, maintenance, modifications (if any)...

To prolong the life of the CVT and its clutch packs, you can take it easy while driving.

CVTs are reliable naman. They're just really, really newfangled technology in our shores. I have friends from Jazz-City United that have never had trouble with their CVTs

    My two cents

    1. Pag switch from "P" to "D" dapat wala daw jerk - OK naman ni wala kahit konting jerk
    2. Pag switch from "D" to "R" , very smooth walang jerk or di ko manlang naramdamang gumalaw yung buong body ng car. As in parang walang nangyari.
    4. Ang reserba na gulong never been used.
    5. Yung lahat ng gulong parang bago pa.
    6. 15Tkm odo
    7. walang scratches , dents ang body all around

Model 2003 to 2004 recalled ng Honda to replace the fluid to from ATF to CVTF. Model 2006 i think is safe na sa ganitong issue kaya i considered it buying na.

I realize na madami user ng Honda sa Malaysia so i searched their forums and read something ont hier exp, medyo hirap lang intindihin ng english nila..Pero wala naman ako nabasa na nakakatakot about CVT.

Type100 Sir, If you are a CVT user, will you warn others to buy a CVT?
Any "CVT user" here that may want to hold me to buy a Honda CVT, please tell me a story..
    Thanks a lot...
