i buy regularly at apalit, and to ask around there for a b16b is asking for trouble.

iisipin agad nila na "wow, racer boy. kahit magkano babayaran nito". trust me i know this

for surplus engines, i suggest you go to the more mainstream engine suppliers who source directly from japan. never go to apalit for engines. too many unknowns. go to apalit for car body panels, mudguards, lights, sidemirror assemblies. in fact, you can get anything you want there apart from the engine (mga chop chop kasi dun hahaha).

yung engines nila local mga yun. mahirap na magpasok ng cars sa subic, kaya bihira na surplus dun.

at yung nakawin na honda... well, wala na tayo magagawa jan. kung may demand, kelangan may mag supply. guys like us who go to capalangan/apalit to buy parts from stolen (common) or insurance writeoff wrecked vehicles (rare) are the demand. we all like to believe the fairy tale na surplus japan yun or galing sa wrecked, pero deep inside, we know where they come from.

Nag kakanakawan daw ng Honda lalo na Sir...
