my honda civic 2001 vtis vibrates and hear a (teg teg teg) sound at the 2 front brakes when i brake at the speed of 120kph. but less than that speed it's all ok. the wheel alighment and balancing is ok and the rotor disc is ok, check and inspected by honda cars pangasinan.when i brake at 10 kph or 110 kph it all ok. but when i reach 120kph it comes out. casa saids it might be the abs is working and theres nothing wrong w/ your car.(do you believed that?) (what do you think guys is the problem)

is it the whole car vibrating ba or you just feel some pulsating from the brake pedal? i dunno how the ABS ng civic works kasi, but in my experience with the familia GLXi, malakas ang ABS feedback niya sa brake pedal (pulsing) even at low spees. i've only managed to get our outlander's ABS to really show feedback through pulses, and it was during a hard run (almost overshot Casino hairpin) sa BRC, not sa city driving.

You could have excessive lateral runout from the rotor hat, brake disc friction surface, and mating hub which causes the vibration when you apply your brakes from high speed. Have the disc resurfaced while still attached to the mating hub if they have the equipment or just a regular lathe will work also.

You can test ABS by driving fast on a slick/semi slick surface (e.g. gravel surface) and slamming on the brakes. You should hear and feel it working and your wheels should not lock up.

same here with my chevrolet lumina. not sure kung ano yun, pero pag high speed din then sudden brake, dun na may tumutunog at konting nginig. pero pag low speed, it's like normal. di ko pa rin nadadala sa casa pero pag nag pa service ako, i will ask them and check.
