To clear lang bro, what i mean sa semi efi is Programmed-Fuel Injection, these is what the LXI engine is equipped of, it's not totally Electronic Fuel Injected (EFI) Engine, though it's fuel Injected but it's not electronically adjusting the fuel feed based on the condition of the engine.
Do not invent terms.
There are generally two types of EFI systems. Open loop EFI and closed loop EFI.
Closed loop EFI systems have sensors on the engine which feedback into the ECU to self-adjust.
Open loops EFI systems simply operate based on pre-programmed values based on sensors in the intake, crank angle, etc.
vtec only engages at 3000 rpm (maybe more pa). so regular driving you're running at 12 valves pa din like the Lxi.
1.6 vti and 1.5 lxi consume about the same given the proper condition of the engines. mas matipid pa ng bahagya yung Lxi kasi mas maliit, makikita ito pag pirming naka hinto sa traffic.
ang 97 PH16 Vti, 12vaLVE pag low rev and pag hi rev 16valve VTEC
i suggest you have the timing and valve clearances checked too.
spark plugs stick to bkr6e, or bkr5 NGK brand. i recommend yung bkr6.
new air filter, lighter oil (10w-40).
check your computations din, you may be sitting in traffic sometimes, which would affect your computations (idling in traffic gets you 0 km/liter).
10-12 long drive on the Lxi is fine. the engine is an older design, after all.
