Kalansing at High RPM

mga bro, everytime mataas RPM ko during arangkada or during rekta, merong parang kalansing akong nadidinig, pero kapag binitawan ko yung accelarator nawawala yung kalansing, ano kaya yun?

it might be sa exhaust system. possible sa resonator.

Tumo-tope makina mo, mean wala sa timing...

try to change your fuel make it 95 octane grade...kapag hindi nakuha have your timing position and distributor position checked by trusted mechanic

I am currently using Petron XCS with my civic, dati naka ford lynx ako using unleaded, nagkaron din siya ng kalansing, then after magpalit ako ng XCS nawala, pero this time I am using XCS pero meron pa rin, so malamang sa timing na yun?

Either adjust your timing or use a gasoline with higher octane rating.

I will try Petron Blaze 100% Octane, pero uubusin ko muna laman ng fuel tank ko para sure na maramdaman ko effect, I will update the thread once ma-try ko na, thanks!

If after using the new Blaze with a 100 octane rating and the problem still persists, then a more thorough examination of the engine by a competent mechanic is highly recommended.

Mga bro, I tried Blaze 100, nawala yung kalansing, then nung bumalik ako sa XCS, bumalik din kalansing, confirm na sa gas na talaga 'to!

Problema mahal ang Blaze, nasa around P5.00 per liter ang difference from XCS!

Next na susubukan ko is the Shell V-Power, pero until now wala pa ring supply!

Check your ignition timing is set properly. It might be advanced enough to cause the ping. You can ask a mechanic to retard the ignition timing by two degrees and check with XCS gasoline.
