You can also try removing the ECU fuse sa fusebox (for at least 5 secs) in the engine bay.

Unhook your battery cables and touch them together for 1 minute! (there will be no power in them so dont worry) and then hook them back up !! if the light comes back on you still have a problem which I can probably help you with that also!! When you touch the wires together what it does is drains the memory on the computer, then when you start it it will take about 10 minutes for it to finish all of its tests and have everything set just right!!
This source is came from a retired master mechanic which we apply this in my friends Toyota celica.

pde ko ba ireset yung ecu ng kotse ko for better performance??
wil it harm my car??

any change done to the engine, its advisable to reset the ecu. simple lang naman to do. tama! just remove the battery terminals for a minute or two. ok na.
Choice I would have made as well.:nod:
