    Hi,

I would like to ask if using tires with different brands is alright in everyday driving? Im planning to change my rear tires and due to a tight budget, im looking for tires which will fit my budget. My front tires is yoko a drive 16's. One more thing, can you please advice a not so expensive brand of tires?

    Many thanks.

IMO that's alright, as long as they all have the same specs.

Now about the "not so expensive" tires, you can try Achilles ATR Sport, a little bit pricier than Westlake and Nankang, but very dependable, IMO.

BTW, this topic should be in "More Than Looks: Mags, Rims and Wheels" threads.

yup, tires are not made specifically for a car brand like Honda.

but anyway, like sir red said, basta same specs ok lang kahit different brands.

let us say na ang gulong mo ay 195/55/16, dapat lahat nang gulong mo ganyan ang size.

Thank you for the response. also, is it better if i place my newer tires in front or the other way around?

Always put new tires on the back.

Old tires in the front can lead to sliding straight under braking in the wet.

Old tires in the back can lead to the car sliding sideways and off the road under braking in the wet.

Which do you think is preferable?
