    Ummm...no. The only real similarity is in the wide-mouth grille.

    The Honda CR-Z concept is actually a recreation of the beloved 1986-1991 CR-X, based on the ED/EF Civic chassis. Had you taken a look at the CR-Z's backside, you would have seen the same split-glass tailgate the second-generation CR-X had.

    Next to the CR-Z, the R8 is much less practical as there's nothing but engine behind the occupants.
