April 4th, 2009 04:45 PM #1Hi Guys,
I really want to have an Honda SIR but confused & no broad idea of having one regarding how to get a good & nice SIR.
Ask ko lng ang mga dapat i check regarding buying an SIR
Many thanks sa lahat

Hello sir,
Una po, how much po yung budget niyo?
Second, yup oo pwede ka magdala ng mekaniko with you when choosing a car.
Third, if you're going to get the vti-s what year model do you plan to get? 01, 04, 05 etc?
Fourth, I also suggest that when you just got the car have it checked immedieately the engine, etc. before you install mods
Fifth, If you wont mind the FC get the vti-s but let me just remind you it's 2.0 and the SIR is 1.6
JMHO.

April 4th, 2009 09:36 PM #3Hi Sir JMHO!
Thanks for the reply.
1. Budget: max 480 k at may 25 k na me reserve for minor repairs & upgrades.
2. I plan to get a 2.0 VTI-s, kasi parang mas oki ang performance. balak ko kasi kumuha ng 2nd car na pang japorms lng at pang sunday driving. Need your suggestion for other options. Is the VTI-s 2.0 is better than the 1.8 performance wise?
3. Di kasi me medyo nakakakita na cool at aggressive look na VTI-s 2.0 dito sa amin pero mga honda SIR ay marami. Kaya di ko pa naapreciate yun stock looks na VTI-s.....sa ngayo SIR looks more japorms as I have seen many different mods have done in our area (cavite & laguna area me) not sure kung meron din pero seldom ako makakita ng japorms)
4. Is the aftermarket parts for an SIR is more/cheaper than VTI-s. not been a good in price hunting kahit pumupunta me sa Banawe QC.
5. Not sure i the VTI-s 2.0 & 1.8 has the manual transmissions. wala pa me nababasa kasi. Hmmm very concerned din kasi may recall din daw sa mga VTI-s regarding fuel tanks/solenoids (not sure)
5. Generally give some advise which is better to lower (SIR or VTI-s) .. I am planning to go lower....deep talaga 2" or more....I planning to save money to buy TEIN for street looks lng....not going to circuit races...
Just love to see lowered cars talaga....
Kami dati naglalagay ng chain lock ng motor or bike. Iba nakita ko literal na kadena at padlock.
