bro, newbie land din ako and jz lyk u, love ko porma ng civic lalo na SiR model. i settled for an SiR look na lang since mas gusto mo ata porma and yet budget concious ka. di mo nman need ng speed pa ata. all show ka muna. check out my ek. 96 nga lang yan, gnamitan lng ng conversion kit to look like SiR e. enjoy ur new car and keep safe bro!

Since you stated that you are still a student, get the VTi. Di ka na mabibitin sa power at acceleration nyan. Tipid pa rin sa gas. Yung 97 vtec ko still gives me 10 km/L city driving. I would have recommended the other choice if you are already working and gasoline price is not an issue.

+1. VTI andun din power. halos pareho din naman sila consumo ng lxi. di kasi EFI lxi e.

if your going for FC, then get yourself an lxi 2000 model. yun ang gamit ko. sobrang tipid sa gas. 3 weeks full tank makati paranaque everyday. FC is around 12 - 14 km/l city driving. yun nga lang hindi kasing powerful ng mga SiR.

pero if you want power sa stock engine, then go for the SiR. to get the vtec to open, dapat 5500 rpm mo. medyo nakakaaddict yung vtec niyan... hehehe

alternative is the vti 2000, open vtec niya sa 2500 rpm ata. not as fast as the SiR pero ok na kung gusto mo mga 120 - 130 km/h na hindi hirap yung makina.

AFAIK, there is a difference of about 1-2 km/liter, with LXI mas matipid.

+1 here, theres a little difference on the FC of LXi and VTi... pero mas matipid pa din ang LXi.

pero kung lagi ka highway then VTi is for you kasi halos same na FC nila or baka masmatipid pa VTi kung high speeds na pinaguusapan.

i still considering to get the 99-00 Civic SiR M/T 1.6L ok pa ang consumption ng gas. Akin ay 99 CRV 2.0L malakas magcumsumo ng gas mula sa calumpit bulacan hanggang Manila nakaka 1000 pesos ako.

Ok pa ang CIVIC SIR...

Gusto ko din ang Civic SiR lalo na color FORMULA RED.
